There will be a lot of comparison, but they won't know everyone actually loves this unironically.
Its a compliment. Comacho was a great President. He recognized the problems, found the most qualified people to help him solve them, and when it was clear there were better options to run the country he peacefully surrendered power for the good of the nation.

This is a rather terse endorsement imo. I'd wager he's irritated at the way Trump is running roughshod over the party and trying to soften its platform on social issues. Quite frankly I'd be a lil sus if a man of the cloth didn't grit his teeth as he endorsed a sinner like Trump. But he's acknowledging that Trump delivers the goods.

This is why you can't take Euros seriously. They HATE America so much, America the OPRESSOR... right until we say we wanna leave. "No, STAY! I can't have a military and paid leave and "Free Healthcare" if you take your big dick army out of europe! I'll actually have to... to... TO WORK!"
I have been pilled after having many conversations with Euros, where they have contempt for our way of life, our filthy "capitalism" but then I point out that capitalism pays for their military and basically offloads the cost of all their social programs. Same song and dance every time. "But it's such a small percentage of your GDP to protect us, we're your allies!"

We could have the same social programs if we didn't have to maintain global hegemony via military dominance and the petrodollar. We don't need Middle Eastern oil, we maintain those supplies for our European Allies. We would be fine here, drilling in the gulf and fracking our own country. We'd be fine without Ukranian grain, but Europe would not. But again, we're stupid and blah blah blah.

You always hear people say shit like "Well, when America has a problem, everyone else has to feel it." And when your civilized nation or backwater shithole has a problem, our country has to send aid for it. Or has to send our people to die in some military intervention or proxy war for it. That's what alliances are, and it's fine when it works for both sides, but people forget that. So fix your shit Europe. You're a giant union, figure out how to stand up to a broke ex-superpower. We're coming up on nearly 80 years after the post-WW2 period and nearly 40 post-Soviet Era. How long will Americans be expected to subsidize your way of life?

Hogan and Graham are a weird choice to put one after the other. Graham is doing a good job, but it's just too much of a tone shift. They should have put in a more unknown speaker between them.

Billy Graham before he died and his son Franklin have given this same address and prayer at like the last 20 Republican Conventions. It's tradition.

Fun fact for my parole hearing friends in BossmanChat: Billy Graham's coffin was made by the prisoners at Angola.
