This is better with Rudy just babbling it's good if you listen you hear him imprinting the friend group he has onto cultures and societies

Just found out that Whatifalthist has a thread.

Didn't read the whole thing but read the first and last few pages.

I discovered this guy earlier in the year because he interacts with redpill YouTuber hoe_math on Twitter quite a bit.

I've watched him as a guest on several podcasts. He mostly just renders the hosts dumbfounded with his never-ending stream of consciousness wrt history.

I haven't seen anyone push back on him. All his appearances are one-sided drone-a-thons.

He also seems to subscribe to the fairly ubiquitous in Current Year assertion that history is full of cyclical examples of excesses of young unmarried men without access to women are the catalyst to revolution.

Addendum, I actually do think Rudyard is more reasonable than some people on this thread make him out to be, I sometimes get insight from some of his views. My main issue really is his ego and inability to accept that he may not always understand the full picture of what he's talking about (like in the tweet above). Having said that, I still think he's a good moderate right balance against some of the crazies, especially on the further right of the spectrum than him, and I think at the very least that is a good thing to have someone who isn't constantly advocating for insane LARP adjacent shit who can simply look at things from a more moderate angle, even if his conclusions aren't always right.

He's moderate in the sense of what he wants to achieve, because the man would vote for 90s Bill Clinton in a heartbeat. But his methods to achieving that are more deranged than the ones of a Hoi4 player. He goes on tirades about drugs and spirits and the CIA and Spengler that it's almost unbelieveable, why? Because he's more drugged than a psych ward patient

Honestly I'd still rather have incoherent rambling about drugs and spirits than whatever the hell the Groypers want to do. At least his rambling is mostly harmless and inconsequential (and funny)

His Weimar video I'm calling is his descent into Groyper territory just wait for the crossover episode of Nick Fuentes X Rudyard Lynch (he claimed Nick agreed to "debate" him)

You're right he just retweets Curt Doolittle rambling about "the coming Jewish dark age" or those weird Tweets from a bit ago where he was informing everyone "guys please I'm not Jewish stop asking" which will never stop since he is the child of a bank director which is fodder for those types
As his YouTube channel continues to die and the probable paid bots start to outweigh the real users he will most likely get too close for YouTube (he already admitted he says things he does not believe) to accept and he will become Paul Joseph Watson for Nick Fuentes "imagine my shock when the incels rebel"
I would not be surprised if he starts to lean into this as he continues to alienate his core audience in 2022-2023 he mainly did that with dumbass moves like demanding 4000$ from his fans to make not a series but a single althistory video

Rudyard in fact went to college for a semester he basically has a doctorate or something in the subjects he studied in that one semester but because of the "female woke left indoctrination" he dropped out
He dropped out from his private college (Bates college) (probably paid for by his dad) in part because his techbro ex-friend convinced him to drop out and his pride is probably too big to admit he made a mistake

The main thing I have heard people focus with was the "how many books have you read" in a really Reddit tone from Rudy but he held up quite well for someone with little to no debate experience I'll give him shit for a lot but that debate was probably one of his high points (Vaush also isn't a likeable person so I may be biased)

Side note what do you guys think caused him to start this new short series the whole thing is out of character because looking at his older shorts they were crappy edits from his uploads
