I'm glad Trump focused on the message and left shit talking Joe/Dems mostly out of it.

It's hard to spin a positive message as bad/evil/fascist/whatever this way and anyone who does looks blatantly like a hater.


The DNC fucked itself by pushing itself back and needing to go second, anything Biden says (I'm still convinced it will be Biden, nobody wants to run against Trump and lose and waste going against the next guy) is going to instantly get compared to Trump's high energy 90+ minute speech. If Biden can only ramble for 20 minutes, it just shows how he's a fumbling, retard old man. Plus, no Dem can talk for over an hour without the mask slipping. Don focused on real issues, there's no way even a D can get on a stage and argue against uniting Americans despite political differences and tax free tips.

The only disagreement I have is that the premise of no one wanting to lose to Trump relies on them realizing they would lose to Trump, or... that they don't think they'll have enough 4AM paper trucks. I'll grant that at the moment the most unhinged democrats (violent agitators aside) are still "ridin' with Biden", seemingly led by a analyst who livestreams from his son's spare bedroom, but that doesn't mean they won't fool themselves into thinking they have strong alternatives.

Realistically, Republicans have way too much other stuff to do to bother with rounding up gay people. Cheating IS their plan. There is no victory without cheating. They don't have time to campaign anyone else and Joe is immensely unpopular. They aren't looking to win. They're looking to create enough plausible deniability to have voters believe when they cheat again. The main focus if you don't want that end result should be in preventing cheating, not worrying about voting. Trump could receive votes from all 330m citizens of the country, and they'd just have the D candidate receive 331 million votes and flip a few high value states.

Choosing that ticket is the political equivalent of a sports team trying to tank for better draft picks. Kamala is fucking anti-charismatic, often boasting numbers about half of sleepy Joe's, and Buttigieg is a carnival parade of fuck-ups waiting to happen. Choosing this is more than giving Trump the win, it's making sure these two never darken the doorsteps of the DNC again, and that's frankly hilarious.

I remember looking at the 2020 election map and being shocked how little a margin trump seemed to lose states like NY and CA by. I'd expect close to or a total shut out in those states but he really didn't do that bad. In CA only reason the state couldn't be in contention is the large concentration of dem voters in LA county.
