Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

You can see this in the interviews where the Showrunner's answers to any questions about the plot are all non-committal, vague answers framed by 'I feel', 'I think', 'I believe' statements. You're the Showrunner, you should know all the why's and how's of your story.

Something I find interesting is how her interviews have backed up my intuition of why so many franchises were being mishandled. They're being handed over to people who just see these franchises and magical settings where there are some ideas and anything can happen. They aren't people that view them as having their own grounded reality. Their own world-building, rules and logic. So of course when they come to make the shows, they just make them without that foundation and of course it's nonsense but that's just how they view the original. It's just stuff happening.

It was my feeling on how these franchises were being handled, but I didn't know if I was entirely correct but with Leslye it seems to confirm it.

To Leslye and others at Lucasfilm, it's just superficial ideas like people go good or bad. They don't have much imagination, so it's a remix of ideas with some new ideas, which are never thought out. Their idea of writing Star Wars is to just reuse ideas with some changes. Who are these witches? Doesn't matter. There's witches in Clone Wars, this is their version of witches. Nothing else needs to be explored or explained because that doesn't matter in Star Wars. It's non-sense. It just has to superficially appear like Star Wars. There's Jedi, lightsabres, force powers, space shits and aliens.

I'm sure Lesly's pitch to Kathleen that made her cry was something about emotion and sisters. Nothing to do with story. Then they're so dumb they thought a millennia was only 100 years, still don't know and are confused why people say this contradicts TPM.

You actually just made me think too. I absolutely doubt they have but has Disney Canon explained why there can only be two sith now?
Cause obviously in the EU, it was because Darth Bane established the rule of two because having more than two sith at any given time was almost always a recipe for disaster.

Here it seems like it's just there, just because?

In TCW his ghost talks to Yoda on Korriban and mentions it, so got grandfathered in, though the fact that Yoda even knew what the Rule of Two was always threw me for a loop, as I was under the impression that the Jedi didn't know anything about post Bane Sith aside from assuming they all died at Ruusan.

Yeah that makes no fucking sense.

Filoniggers have been saying for years that Anakin's lightsaber wouldn't have turned red because "you have to bleed the crystal to make it red!" meanwhile OSHA (a subsidiary of the US Department of Labor) turned a Jedi Master's lightsaber red just by being vewy angwy. And every Acolyte script was passed over the cowboy's own desk (confirmed in interviews with him, Headland, and other writers/producers).

I just love seeing them eat shit after spending a decade preening over the "savior of star wars, Lucas's successor". Get fucked.

In the EU at least they had Zannah's cousin mentioning that there were two Sith, which gave them the idea that the Rule of Two existed. They also knew about Bane, they just throught he maybe died on Ruusan then they thought he definitely died on Ambria.

Samurai Bane is also a godawful redesign, I'm not a Revanfag but it's good that TCW didn't get its hands on him. Even if SWTOR managed to somehow do him even dirtier around the same time.

Yeah, but then just nothing, why would Yoda just know that off the top of head? Sounds like a footnote in the archives: "Oh yeah there was this guy who didn't die in the battle and sort of limped on for a while but don't worry we eventually got him, they're all gone for good." Though I guess Set Harth also would have known since he got away and lived for a long damn time with clone bodies, but I doubt he would squeal.

Shadow of Revan wasn't that bad, raid was good at least.

Make chit that the other day, I asked someone if they were watching The Acolyte. They had no idea what the show was. They then told me they weren't all that big into Star Wars but they liked the Rey movies. I wanted to press for details about how that's possible but I try not to be the retard I am online in real-life situations.

The one person I knew who was watching The Acolyte and liked it because of the "representation." Said after episode 7 it was bad.

Is Sol dead? Or was he just chocked to pass out?

Man it is a really good thing the Disney+ algorithm is able to detect hatewatches
>he thinks people here watch it on disney+
lmao

I'm consuming and interacting with the media but out of spite. That'll learn them.
yeah, don't laugh about the cringe or anything, just ignore it and it will totally go away on it's own, disney and lucarsarts are completely profit-driven after all...
I get your point, but this is "just vote with your wallet" tier or thinking any PR is good PR.

vs. TV where even a 5-minute walk-on is still getting itself a sliver on the pie chart.
that's the point. the people that actually watch this shit unironically are supposed to clap like seals when they get the reference, and it needs to be obvious enough they get it.
it's only a matter of time till they add a synopsis like the chinese do to every character, so nuwars-"fans" don't even need to pay attention anymore.

Women make everything they control about them and their feelings.

It's why a ton of modern media feels like a fucking therapy session.

Ah, that makes sense. I figured it was some gay Disney change but didn’t know if it happened in one of the cartoons I didn’t watch or what.
It's also fucking retarded and frankly I want to sperg about it a bit for a second.
How the saber crystals work in general now is fucking retarded tbh. It just creates too many questions that didn't even exist in the EU. In the EU your saber was just whatever the fuck color the crystal you found was, end of story.

In Disney? Okay so we know dark side bullshit makes the crystal red but what about any other fucking color? What do they mean?! Are they determined by your personality? Your force power? Or just whatever the fuck color you feel like at the time? It's fucking stupid imo.

But it's also something small that probably nobody else gives a shit about, but goddamnit I do!

Man it is a really good thing the Disney+ algorithm is able to detect hatewatches ,otherwise a bunch of consoomer faggots in this very thread would be boosting Acolyte's numbers. I'm consuming and interacting with the media but out of spite. That'll learn them.
Who said I pay for Disney+?

I wouldn't say I'm hatewatching, its more that I find shitty movies and tv shows hilarious. Growing up watching MST3K does that to you. I have a feeling Skeleton Crew is going to be boring which is a cardinal sin for shitty media so I'll probably skip that unless Jaleel White's character is Urkel in Star Wars.

And why shouldn't we boost Acolyte's numbers? No one is subscribing to D+ or buying merch so that $180 million they spent on the show was for nothing. I want them to make five more seasons of it until they're spending $500 million per season and every character is a tranny. The BlackRock DEI money printer is out of ink and the average person is turning against this woke shit so the more money Disney spends this shit the sooner they'll have to start selling off their IPs in order to pay off the loans they took out to buy Fox. They're going to be paying off those loans until the 2060s.

I never liked the Rule of Two as a concept, and I feel like it was only introduced to clarify a line that didn't really need clarification, imo. When I watched TPM as a kid, I figured that Yoda just meant that Sith come in pairs.

As per TCW the crystals are magical and have to pick younglings in a ceremony run by a whacky british droid, which is also why dark siders have to steal crystals. However, the Empire could just mine Ilum (the only source of crystals) dry, and use the crystals to power the Death Star. And there were somehow enough crystals left over to convert Ilum into Starkiller Base.

Like you said, not a problem in the EU where some crystals had some force resonance, but you could also shove just about anything durable and refractory in there and it would do the trick. Also all of the Canon bs ignores the deleted scene from ROTJ where Luke has a crystal forge.

Damn the first 15 minutes really hit hard:

I don't have Disney+ and I didn't pirate it. I only watched the reviews and Thor Skywalker's videos.
