She’s always been able to side-step responsibility, thanks to her parents and those eunuchs she lives with. When faced with something hard, she’s always just wailed until someone else took over. When she failed, she suffered no consequences, and rewards have come even if she does nothing. I don’t think she has a point of reference for what constitutes “a huge commitment.”

It's absolutely made her worse. It actually took the thread from favorite cow status to one I might have to stop reading.
