As such, people who are familiar with violence or with struggle are going to be less likely to advocate for violence. Because they know exactly what it entails.

While I listened to him talk to Jordan Peterson, he made me realize some of the nuances by which leftists get their brains in a knot, e.g. regarding the safety and effectiveness of the jabs. It was a discussion that seems to have been well received judging by all the comments. I will say your sentiments are understandable when I consider other contexts — it seems like Destiny is on his best behavior when the setting is more formal and structured, and is much more flippant and error-prone in his streams. He can be very off-putting with all his character flaws. I will just say being ego-driven and lacking deep capacity for self-awareness, completely missing the plot morally and being abusive — these things don't necessarily make someone disingenuous in my view. I'm not sure about whether Destiny's motives are so crude and ignoble, but maybe I'll come around to your view with more exposure.
