Nope. I've learned the head of Homeland Security, Mayorkas, it the one handing down these restrictions as the USSS now falls under the umbrella of DHS.

I'm not sure how that's going to work but so far, despite the ire this is causing, the House is not budging at all. My guess is that they want to downplay pretty much everything and limit the exposure the GoP can get out of the event.

If she just shows up, reads the prepared answers then leaves it will remove most of the potential for political theater. No doubt there will be several Yes/No answers. So unless someone can over-rule Mayorkas this is how it's going to happen it looks like.

Of course this shit just came out this morning so it may change if GoP Pol's jump on it. Or it could not, Biden can't really go any lower rating wise, giving the GoP a chance to rip and tear into a DIE hire would probably boost the GoP polls even higher so that's a no go for sure if the Dems can prevent it and Mayorkas is toast the second Trump swears the oath and he knows it so whats one last fuck you to Congress. By the time they get an impeachment rolling it will be far too late.

At least that's my take on it.

I've never heard a good explanation as to why we exist. All the scientific ones are too random and rely on hocus pocus logic to make things happen. The explination that the universe was created by a being with a will is the only one that makes sense to me.

If you believe because God told you to, you don't believe at all. Belief comes from the heart. It does not come from logic or fear of punishment. And you cannot have the moral values of Christianity without said faith.

What's really funny is this is literally all that's happening:

Average vote blue no matter who: All people that vote for orange man are evil fascist Nazis that deserve to have their families destroyed and lives ruined before we shoot them, if they get elected they'll be mean to me for no reason, probably because they're racist or sexist or homophobic!

Average Trump voter: I just want to buy groceries and gas for my family, and not be at perpetual risk of losing my entire livelihood over accidentally saying the wrong pronoun.

Isn't that ok after the convention, almost required in this case even? It's not like just some jr senator start up like hussein was. They're not going to go after him any I don't think on this realistically. And people were calling Biden before the election was final for sure, all over. Notably Bibi. So I don't think this is a case of wait until election night. But I'm not sure.

I think that's why my generation is so checked out of politics. Bro, growing up under trump was something else. I was 15 when trump won. I still remember the SJW meltdowns, and all that ensued. That included all the leftist garbage in schools. It was so fucking gay. It made me hate those people, those fucking millennial brats, because that's what most of them were. Brats bitching about loans that THEY took out for worthless degrees. I can't say i was surprised to see their reactions to the Trump assassination, but i was startled that even after all this time, they are still this mad and they havent grown up.

I don't think people in general, or most Christians in particular, would have a problem with atheists/agnostics who just don't believe as a matter of personal belief. The problem is entirely with those who say "I don't believe, and no one else should either, gotta destroy religion so I can be smug about it."
