Remember when Colbert called in every favor he possibly could to get his sister elected to Congress, and failed?
He didn't call in favors so much as sold his soul to the DNC and Podesta in particular, for them to bankroll to the hilt his sister's vanity campaign even though she had no chance to win.

And she ran as Colbert, but instead of that gay, frenchy-sounding col-BEAR, she pronounced her name as it is, COL-burt.
One would think she would have leaned into being his sister, and pronounced it the same way he (publically) does, even if it's usually said the other way,

In many rural areas of the South that's how town/county councils are selected. It's called a 'Police Jury'. They send a summons to randomly selected registered voters just like jury duty and if you won't serve you'd better have a damn good reason. Not a fan of forced anything personally. It might be used elsewhere but I only know about it in the South because I've lived it and it feels straight out of 1850.

tbh this is exactly how it should be. "Politician" shouldn't be a career. Being elected to a public office should be regarded by the average person exactly how jury duty is now, a service you perform to your community, and going back to whatever it is you were doing before at the end of your term.

FAA doesn't give a shit as long as it's below 400 feet, and it's pretty much by default now that the USSS is incompetent and didn't double check for weird shit.
It’s also small and likely won’t have a big enough radar cross section to register on a controller’s scope. It also doesn’t have a transponder since it isn’t operating in any airspace where it needs one.

To add some credence to your argument, unless you’re around an airport, if you’re under 800-1200 feet you’re not likely going to have any radar service at all (but it’s location dependent).

So yeah, the airspace is NOTAM closed, if you fly an aircraft through it you’ll get intercepted. If you fly a drone through it and it isn’t spotted (which it likely will be spotted by someone), I don’t know how you’d get caught.

I remember!

He threw a temper tantrum on his show after she lost, too. It was amazing.
Please tell me it's on YouTube.
Amazing. lol.

As so many people here (including myself) have said before: Democrats, you pushed Biden, and now you've GOT Biden.

This glorious shitshow couldn't be happening to a nicer party of bullies and gaslighters.
The best part is we now get to watch said gaslighters and bullies crash and burn. I hope I'm not the only one who saw this coming back in 2020. It only took 4 years longer than expected but it was totally worth it.

I almost feel bad for Biden, he's so far gone he actually drank the Kool aid to the point he thinks the media wasn't just being DNC lapdogs. Honestly, it's insane to see the scale of Kool aid drinking that was going on throughout the entirety of the Democrat party, from the leadership down to the voters. Biden turning out to be a senile retard wasn't even in the possibility space of things that would happen during that debate in their heads. My dad actually got upset because he didn't think Trump was doing too great and figured the media would cover for Trump, left early and was actually surprised that Biden was getting torn to shreds, because he figured Dems already knew Biden's state - I can assume he wasn't the only conservative out there who was thinking the same thing.

I am not a drone operator, so I will defer to anyone who is one.

I just remember I worked a job with a guy with a drone. He was having connection issues because we were in the middle of the boonies and, and the drone physically couldn't take off until it got clearance.

Don't feel bad for them. They had every opportunity to reach out of their bubble, and fought against everyone who tried to pull them out. Even as everything falls apart around them they still are unable to see the reality of the situation. There will be no moment where we can force them to see reason and they feel remorse for their actions.

What are the odds that California flips red?
My impression is that local elections are getting more conservative. Nobody likes what's happening in their neighborhoods and the progressives weren't able to deliver on promises. However, the national conservative platform still has negative appeal to the average Californian so don't ever expect red on national elections.

All politicians are scum in my opinion. They will have no sympathy from me. Let Trump shit all over everything they've built.

Blame the big cities for that bullshit, where I'm at it's basically solid red. States really need an electoral college ngfl

Every state that isn’t California, New York or Illinois is in play.

Semper Fi

New York doesn't have a lot of polling since it's considered a safe Democrat state, but I think it's closer to being in play than a lot of other states. RCP has it at only +7.5 Biden and there aren't any polls from after the debate. The polls were already also pretty consistently trending towards Trump over time as well.

Meanwhile California is +21.7 Biden and Illinois is +17.9. Maryland and Connecticut are similar high. Vermont and Massachusetts are estimated to be even higher, but that's mainly based off of 2020 results which were around +30 Biden.

Edit: Also Trump is from New York and although he lives in Florida now, he has a lot of historical association with NYC. People might not vote Republican there, but they might just vote for Trump, particularly after the assassination attempt.

I said almost, and that only applies to Biden who is pretty much a hollow shell, nearly a corpse that is being puppeteered. Anybody who has eyes, ears, and an IQ above 90 gets no sympathy from from me for ignoring that shit. Even though his aides and the media constantly covered for him, there were so many telltale moments that he was going downhill fast, even before he was elected.

Alright so is Mike Pence off coping and sneeding and zapping in a corner somewhere? How is that guy holding up?
Pence was always in Da Club and loyal to Da Club (aka the neocon/neolib uniparty establishment). His role was always to do his best to prevent the administration from straying too far away from what the DC Clique wanted. He doesn't regret being a traitor and saboteur because that was always his role from the get-go. He doesn't feel any shame over being accused of cucking out because he knows that was his consistent objective in return for financial rewards from the rest of the uniparty.
