"Don't watch cable news": Biden campaign tries to rally staff
Axios (archive.ph)

President Biden's campaign chair convened an all-staff call Friday and urged staffers to tune out news coverage that has focused on whether Biden will be pushed aside as the Democratic nominee, according to a recording of the call obtained by Axios.

Why it matters: The call is the latest example of Biden campaign leadership working to turn around the low morale among staffers in the aftermath of Biden's debate.
  • "Don't watch cable news all the time," chair Jen O'Malley Dillon told staff at the campaign and the Democratic National Committee.
  • "That is not the real world. The real world is the voters that are standing with us, the delegates that are with us, and we're going to weather this because of this organization."
What they're saying: O'Malley Dillon reiterated to staff that Biden is "in this race" and "in it to win it."
  • "I talked to him this morning – he sounds like sh*t because he's not feeling that well," she said, noting his recent COVID diagnosis.
  • "But he is doing the work, and he is focused on what you guys are doing."
O'Malley Dillon added that "the people that the president is hearing from are saying: 'stay in this race and keep going and keep fighting, and we need you.'
  • "Those voices will never be as loud as the people on TV, but remember that the people in our country are not watching cable news. They just aren't."
Between the lines: O'Malley Dillon is taking incoming from Democratic lawmakers, donors, and some her own staff who feel upset that the White House was not candid about the president's mental fitness in the months before the debate.
  • In addition to the staff call, O'Malley Dillon also made a rare TV appearance Friday morning on MSNBC's "Morning Joe", which is closely watched by the president and his aides.
  • A recent AP/NORC poll found that 65% of Democrats want Biden to withdraw from the race.
In the face of mounting outside criticism, some Biden aides have rallied together while others feel disillusioned.
  • A DNC official told Axios: "I appreciate the focus on staff efforts, but no one wants or needs to be gaslit about the president."
  • Some Democrats who considered joining the campaign have recently expressed relief they decided against it.
Zoom in: After O'Malley Dillon spoke, former Labor Secretary Marty Walsh also delivered a fiery pep talk in his thick Boston accent.
  • "Ladies and gentlemen, it's up to you," he said. "It is up to us to say: 'Okay, wait a second. Screw it! We're gonna go deeper. We're gonna move harder. The people of America want to vote for us."
The bottom line: O'Malley Dillon also highlighted that the campaign has still been doing extensive field work in swing states even amidst the political fallout.
  • "Over the course of the last week alone, we had 100,000 door knocks," she said.
  • "We had 76% of those people that are with Joe Biden, and those are not Joe Biden voters. Those are our re-engagement targets, the people that haven't checked in yet, they are expansion targets–the people that weren't with us in '20 but have moved to us and our issues since then."
A spokesperson for the DNC did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

What are the odds that California flips red?
Very low, but I'm pretty sure county-by-county it's going to be mostly red outside LA/SF and the Marin County area. We actually had a Trump rally in 2020 near where I am with participation/turnout rivalling the yearly xmas lighted truck parade. I've noticed people are a lot more open with the hats/stickers as of late too, even before the assassination attempt. It makes me wish they'd finally pass any of the crazy state-splitting plans that've been proposed and gone nowhere over the years.

New York doesn't have a lot of polling since it's considered a safe Democrat state, but I think it's closer to being in play than a lot of other states. RCP has it at only +7.5 Biden and there aren't any polls from after the debate. The polls were already also pretty consistently trending towards Trump over time as well.

Meanwhile California is +21.7 Biden and Illinois is +17.9. Maryland and Connecticut are similar high. Vermont and Massachusetts are estimated to be even higher, but that's mainly based off of 2020 results which were around +30 Biden.

Edit: Also Trump is from New York and although he lives in Florida now, he has a lot of historical association with NYC. People might not vote Republican there, but they might just vote for Trump, particularly after the assassination attempt.
Speaking in general, most people who are democrat base (minorities , liberal white women and gays) don’t switch to republicans they just don’t vote. The active voting base for the democrats are usually those three categories, even in the Midwest or southwest which are crucial for determining the winner. If you look on any electoral map New York looks to be 95% red with exception to the 20,000 delegations that are in New York City alone. This will probably be the lowest voter turnout for the democrats in ages

Pennsylvania, which was the arbiter of the last election, is most likely going to go hard red, same with the south west and all the other battleground states which are needed.

I said almost, and that only applies to Biden who is pretty much a hollow shell, nearly a corpse that is being puppeteered. Anybody who has eyes, ears, and an IQ above 90 gets no sympathy from from me for ignoring that shit. Even though his aides and the media constantly covered for him, there were so many telltale moments that he was going downhill fast, even before he was elected.
"Bidens carers and puppeters are more competent and not corrupt than Trumps carers" -The retards in the discord i frequent.

First off, how is democracy under threat if its already dead since you're fucking admitting you voted for a puppet.
Second, These idiots try to argue with me that trump is just if not more mentally unwell than biden, but they can't justify it, they start to conflate Morality with Mental wellness and imply trump is a psychopath then when that fails they move onto calling him a liar, then they just deny it entirely. I told them they have a cognitive dissonance and even though Biden is obviously mentally worse than trump and they don't even want him to run they can't admit an uncomfortable truth for them that Trump is better than biden in a single area.

I ask you: Do you want total war?! Do you want it, if necessary, more total and radical than anything that we can yet today even conceive?!

I think you guys are underestimating how hard the propaganda machine will work to push out their voter base, they genuinely believe project 2025 is happening if Trump is elected. They're going to "vote blue no matter who"

Preface - is GhostArchive not working for anyone else? I'm getting an error message. "Whoops, looks like this domain isn't yet set up correctly.".

Clayton thinks Thomas was a patsy for the real shooter on the water tower.

edit: the guy Tony features in the video seems schizoid. He uses some system of letters to numbers for some "facts". idk. his x id is In2ThinAir.
someone went to the tower the other day, same shadow is at the top of the tower. I think people are just too in deep with the conspiracies, of course the lady saying things about the watertower has people freaking out about it aswell.
