I'm not even a big account nor did he ever follow me, and they have zero retweets. Was late to these because Twitter didn't notify me that he replied to me.

At the time you left this post I didn't think anything of it or know what you were referencing.

Only today did I find out the full story that he's nearing lolcow levels of doing dumb shit and slapfighting his own fanbase.

Apparantly his own moderators have disowned him and rebranded his communities to not involve him any longer because of him defending Rose Mulet and paling around with Ethan Klein and his wife.

I think what irks me about vtubers is the blatant disrespect for their audiences. How many streamers do real life meetups? Real life events? Collabs? Very few. Vtubers? As many as given the opportunity. Have some simp carry a screen and camera around for them to wiggle on from home. Fans meeting up in droves for this tuber who's probably sitting in their underwear at home. Even a 3 viewer streamer is working 4-6 hours a day on average at this, while a vtuber auditions, is guaranteed success if they dont tard out and then do these things requiring immense effort from their fans and none from them.

I avoid vtuberism like the plague but watched some youtube vid of a prominent name and by god, it was an adult man talking about fucking deviantart tier idiocy between mentally immature people. It's just nuts to me. If anime was ever considered low-brow entertainment, vtubers are twice that. People rather entertain a debuting nobody than bother with the quality streamer with 29 viewers who just never got their lucky break. I remember one tuber failing, closing their debut stream, and reddit was nothing but trying to force a success out of it. "Nooo our poor baby! Spread the word (of their failure)!".

the "live" format doesn't work with the embedding function. Change the link to the old "watch?v=XXX" or "youtu.be/XXX" format and then embed it. Or you can edit it directly as [ MEDIA=youtube]XXX[/MEDIA ]
