I'd agree with you.... except that Chevron was just dismantled. And even if Repub congressmen cuck, it's not going to matter much if the 3 letter agencies affected by Chevron (ATF, EPA, etc.) are dismantled as well.

I've grown to appreciate the DEI in MTG, especially LotR. At the end of day im playing the game to have fun and black Aragorn is shitpost tier funny.

Also angry black grandpa Gandalf makes me laugh whenever I see it

People are way too optimistic about how broadly that ruling is going to be applied. It will only nibble around the edges of the various agencies' power.

Pollsters update their methodology so that they would accurately predict the results of the most recent elections. After 2016, they updated their methodology and weighting to favor Trump. After 2018, they rolled some of them back after the blue wave. This led them to again over-estimate Biden in 2020. They updated their polling methodology to weight Republicans higher in 2022, but the Dobbs decision led to the predicted Red wave never materializing.
So, in 2024, they are adjusting it based on the 2022 results and overestimating Biden, or (more likely) they are trying to correct for the 2016 and 2020 gap because Trump is on the ticket, and they are accurate or even overestimating him.

Filing a suit means nothing about what powers will actually be curtailed by a federal judge's ruling. Judges tend to be extreme conservative and are not looking to gut the federal administrative state.

Blame English on being the bastard language of Europe and most of those countries all using the same Greek alphabet with their own different pronunciations. To pronounce words correctly it becomes necessary to know both the origin of the word as well as their system of pronunciation. Some Americans can manage this with common names or words from Spanish or other romance Languages, but start adding Polish or others like that to the mix and people aren'g going to go for it.

Not that it will ever happen, but we really should switch to the Shavian alphabet.

The fact that Aragorn looks like he should be saying "hey hey people" really makes it funny for me. Like, they couldn't even make him a good-looking, Idris Elba style black guy, they leaned into the groidmaxxing until he looked like he should be sucking the marrow from an albino's tibia.

It's still a long, long, long road to the damnatio memorae that FDR and his regime deserve, but just opening up the agencies to lawfare allows activism to defend people and chip away at their power a bit at a time.
