Kamala is the only one that can get the campaign money. Also, the time to be put on the ballot has passed in a lot of these states, so she is the only one who can take up that challenge and minimize those challenges.
Not going to happen. But then again if it does that is Trump win 100. They can't be that stupid. She is like only one more disliked than Biden and Trump.

OMG... Biden's num one fan...
Someone should check on Destiny that man does have guns.

Reactions: Sumdood Too
Counterpoint: Harris is, like, really, really bad at campaigning and she's just smart enough to realize she's basically killing any future political career running this fall.
She has never run in a campaign outside of a uniparty state.

She has zero experience running against competitive Republicans. Certainly not the most competitive Republican to arrive since 1990.

Get ready for Democrats to prop her up with the most insane amount of propaganda you have ever seen in your life. She went from being Montel Williams' side piece and Willie Brown's tubesteak cleaner to presidential hopeful.

People that come off overbearing with their religion are but one part of the equation for issue. The influence of academia and Hollywood cannot be denied when it comes to shaping the image of the faith and peoples views on it. Christians certainly don't really have many allies in those places and haven't a huge presence in those worlds for a long time.

The increasing lack of earthly social value of being a Christian probably plays a part to. In the past in some places you could leave or stop going to a church and people may ask why you have done this. Now many people don't even care. Identifying with Christianity is not necessarily something you have to do in order to "fit in" anymore.
Pressure from outside can be one of the most powerful motivators for members of a religion. The biggest reasons for American Christianity's failure have been internal. The religious right never wanted to win, only to grift. For that reason they jumped on a succession of moral panics that allowed them to fundraise from old ladies but made them look ridiculous to anyone who wasn't already bought in 100%. Pokemon, Teletubbies, Harry Potter, D&D, the list goes on. I half suspect that there was a backroom agreement between the religious lobby and the neolib-neocons that they would never push for any significant shift in culture. After Obama was elected many of these groups, like Focus on the Family, shut down their operations without any protest.

I would say what was much more damaging than any perceived intolerance or backwardness was the image of megachurches and guys like Joel Osteen. No questioning young person could look at such a scene and think there was anything genuine to believe in there.

All they literally had to do was let Trump win 2020, so he'd be unable to run again. Then, find a centrist candidate that would work for the interests of the working man. A RINO could've won 2024, then they could've had their Obama moment again as a party. Nope, their pride was their downfall at the expense of everybody else.

All of this could've been so avoidable.
