Pollsters update their methodology so that they would accurately predict the results of the most recent elections. After 2016, they updated their methodology and weighting to favor Trump. After 2018, they rolled some of them back after the blue wave. This led them to again over-estimate Biden in 2020. They updated their polling methodology to weight Republicans higher in 2022, but the Dobbs decision led to the predicted Red wave never materializing.
So, in 2024, they are adjusting it based on the 2022 results and overestimating Biden, or (more likely) they are trying to correct for the 2016 and 2020 gap because Trump is on the ticket, and they are accurate or even overestimating him.

They need the polls to be in favour of who they want to win by a small margin because if it's a large margin their supporters don't feel they need to show up and if it's not positive, then people are more likely to question votes if they fortify the election.

Was it ever true that Trump charged secret service agents ridiculous fees for staying at his hotels, Mar A Lago etc? Some retard said to me that’s why Trumps detail was reduced/denied.

None of them were charged personally. It's just whether the Federal Govt. was paying or not. And I think they may have been but Trump has a right to stay at his own hotel and SS agents need to be at the same hotel he is. I don't think there was ever any evidence of "ridiculous fees" or anything. It was just one of those things that could look superficially bad which they tried to turn into a big deal and then the story just faded away.

The best response to that is to say "just because they said they were nationalist doesn't mean they were" and sit back and enjoy the screaming.

Joe was never great at public speaking and gaffed pretty often. As he ages, the gaffes go from embarrassing to incomprehensible.

Biden has been a fuck up most of his career, but go watch something from the 2007 campaign, 2011 events, 2015 events, and 2019 campaign. It’s obvious he was mush, but it’s such a drastic step down. I think he probably really started getting dementia when his son died and then it’s rapidly gotten worse as they tear him from location to location.

They needed a black woman for DEI reasons. But she had to be black, female, and stupid enough to be second fiddle to a corpse, while having just enough ambition to put up with it but not enough skill/talent/power of her own to overrule the puppetmasters.

Kamala isn't black, but she's close enough for the left. She's the only one that fits the requirements.

The DNC will not have a lot of pretty speeches or a house band playing endless uplifting boomer tunes to fill in time. They will have endless infighting, voting over and over and over, as they struggle to form a majority to nominate someone, anyone, to the least desirable political position in almost 60 years.

I see two options

1. They arrange a shadow nomination before the convention and just set it up for a simple vote of some kind. Not sure if there's a way they can get out of an Open Primary at this point, though - Biden needed to last another month and, er, didn't.
2. Thermonuclear levels of chaos. RFK Jr declaring he plans to run for the nomination, for example. Hell for fun have Desantis announce he's gonna run as the Democratic dominee. AOC. Various anti-Israel commies that will use their nomination and the fact they're required to let them speak to rant about the Jews (live on air).

It isnt even really a problem with Kamala per se - like I said, if Biden had tragically choked on a vanilla cone 20 minutes ago, I would be happy to carry on with Kamala.
Harris isn't a bad candidate so much as an unknown one. But because she has been serving in the office of Vice President, she's next in line for the nomination. She should have had challengers and an opportunity to make her case. Now we have to vote for a dark horse (lol npi)?
What bothers me is the deception, and the expectation that Democrats would vote for Disabled Joe Biden and just ignore what's plain to see.
