We have to talk about you faggots not being able to figure out thumbnails

Only for the uninitiated, and unintelligent, and lazy.

Once you do it correctly a few times, it's so easy to remember, and becomes muscle memory.
You're only going to have a small amount of people that click this and reads it / other rants get to them. Then you remove those who don't care, or just forget.

Even if you make a nice shiny red warning when posting, I'd guess only 50% of people would notice/care

I hate having big pictures mid-post so I always drag them smaller
Manually resizing images isn't a substitute for using thumbnails either.

This actually reminds me of the absolute retard who was doing this shit:

Niggas will start recoding the HTML in their posts to avoid simply using thumbnails.

I was just wondering if you thumbnail an image, then drag it to resize, does it un-thumbnail. I don't think it does

Oh wtf, I didn't even know you could drag it to resize it. My bad, I thought you meant resizing it in another application.

I look forward to whatever forum software upgrades are coming then, because the fact that Xenforo software can't automatically thumbnail and that they've no interest to implement it is pitiful. Its a very legitimate QOL improvement. Maybe dress as a woman and ask them again?

P.s. I'm sorry about all those big images, boys. But I know now, and I've even started compressing my videos uwu

I specifically use low resolution, compressed and thumbnailed JPEGs and video to make loading faster and easier. I don't understand why people can't comprehend the importance of this on a site as historically bandwidth constrained as the farms. If you take a look at my hamster thread you'll notice all the images on the OP load almost instantly, despite having over 20 hamsters.

You'd think a site like the farms would be disproportionally over-represented with people who know how and why you follow these best practices but apparently not. Honestly I think it just comes down to laziness. Hopefully when sneedforo is done a final solution to this problem will be implemented, but for now I guess we'll have to stick with yelling at people.

Null should honestly just start handing out bans for this at this point. It's what I'd do if I were this fed up.
