Have you niggas heard of regretevator? its essentially a normal elevator ripoff but with gay 2010's tumblr or twitter troon artist shit plastered over it. the fanbase is "interesting" to say the least, especially the fanarts and the specimen inside the said fandom.

"Tryhard" is a word that's thrown around inappropriately, but I think Regretevator is the perfect descriptor for a Tryhard game. It tries way too hard to be something more than it is. But at the same time I can't really say it wasn't a success, but the cost is more gooner-tier characters being made for the platform. Then again, a majority of Roblox games are made for kids & teens, and a lot of them love slop.

According to the lead developer for Guts & Blackpowder, he confronted moderation about it and their response was that it “doesn’t break their policies”, despite in the same brevity claiming that they’re looking deep into it.

ETA: Some callout resources I figured would've been deleted/purged by now are still live, so here's examples. Attachment #1 is a thread from a disgruntled fujo (archive) calling out the DvN creator and staff over perceived transphobia and cyberstalking, and #2 is the staff response.
Also, as a hearsay anecdote, G&BP's community server I think has fan artists confined to their own respective drawing threads, and I've heard of at least one instance in which an artist's thread was removed entirely because they kept drawing yaoi ship art of in-game soldiers (either OCs or canon characters, can't remember and I'm not familiar enough with G&BP to confirm with certainty).

Yeah, that tracks. From what I remember, the piece that broke the camel’s back with the fanartist I’m thinking of was two soldiers cuddling, and I’m sure there were staff that monitored that person just enough to catch them when they slipped up.

When the moderation’s that harsh, the artists typically splinter off into public and private safety bubbles where their yaoifagging festers, but it’s refreshing to see the official community servers lay down the law for real. If you don't—or, worse, you allow or encourage their autism—you get shit like this in them:
