They can't. Firstly, no covid. So no excuse. Secondly, unlike Biden, Kamala is fit and able bodied so people are going to ask a lot more questions if she just stays in the basement the entire time. She ain't Warren G (Harding). She can't just campaign from her porch
They don't need an excuse, they'll just pretend she's campaigning and ignore any questions about it. The media is like 90% lockstep for the left now, after 20+ years of ideological capture. And even if they can't, they can generate an excuse -- "credible threats to the candidate from those evil women hating MAGA chuds," for example.

My brother in kiwis, that must be one of the one most retarded statements I’ve read on here.

The Conservatives lost because they lost. They had been in power for 14 years and had run out of ideas.
The Conservatives lost because their voting base got tired of voting for Labor policies despite their politicians being "Conservative", and the "Vote for us, or ELSE!" line from the party got tossed back into their faces.

I figure the GOP is about 4 years behind from a similar event after Trump is gone, for the same reasons.

"Ms. Kamala, what policies are you campaigning on?"

"I wanna win"

Compelling.

The message is that you win by voting for her. They're trying to copy Trump, deliver the feeling of winning to people who are tired of losing.

The problem is that's easier to pull off if you can relate to or associate yourself with the candidate. Trump, the celebrity billionaire real estate mogul from NYC, did that by talking plainly about issues the voters cared about, and expressing crude anger at the things voters were angry about. Kamala, the cosmopolitan nepotism AA hire from California, completely fails to connect to anyone who doesn't have an obsession with her demographics (black, woman, midwit).

The other way to do that is if you very strongly associate the candidate with policies the voter very strongly cares about. And since she's a corrupt prosecutor, establishment Democrat, and Biden hanger-on... lol, lmao.

I may be out of the loop, why do we think Biden might be dead? Isn't it more likely they're just having him lay low to strategize his narrative after the announcement?
>won't give up nomination
>"gets covid"
>disappears
>suddenly he gives up the nomination via twitter
>to the surprise of many who should have been in the know
>still haven't seen him for days since

It's really not hard to speculate he's dead/dying. He should be out rallying support for Kamal. Hiding to "strategize" doesn't help right now, and arguably makes things look worse.

And when she loses, the first woman president will always and forever have been her, put in charge not through the will of the people, but through the melting brain of the bugman who picked her as a diversity hire. And I think that's funny.

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM........

He went completely MIA, vanishing outright. Not just a little, completely gone -- he hasn't been seen by ANYONE. It was around this time that @Gehenna pointed out the rumor is he either had a stroke or his dementia hit the point that's completely gone now.

Then his twitter account announced he was dropping out of the race, but retaining power for the rest of his term. But said announcement lacks the presidential seal and has someone else's signature on the document claiming to be Biden's. He didn't do a video press release. He didn't make a public statement. He didn't do a press conference. He's been completely and utterly missing since then. In addition, no actual announcement or changes have been made or posted to the official Whitehouse website et all. In addition, apparently everyone in his staff and the white house staff found out when that was posted to Twitter, they weren't told beforehand.

It all adds up to one of a few scenarios -- either Biden's dead or just not there anymore (coma, dementia beyond recovery, etc), or this is a coup and someone has cut him and Jill off from the world and are making announcements on his Twitter account to push the issue. (To wit: He can't un-drop out now, even if he doesn't want to, it would open up way too many questions.)

Yes, they can try that but that doesn't necessarily mean it will work. Remember, these people were telling us for months that Biden being too enfeebled to run for re-election was just a conspiracy theory, and now he's dropped out. Public trust in the media isn't exactly at an all time high.

Besides, Kamala is really at a strong disadvantage here. She has only about four months to try and salvage this campaign. She can't afford to just stay in the basement, she's got to go out and shake hands with people

Depends. If JD becomes Trump's successor they might be able to stave that off for long enough to affect real change in the country

Forgive me, it's hard to keep up with this. What does that mean?
the theory seems to be
a) she's heading to Delaware
b) this is in order to be passed The Football (aka The Button) like it's the Matrix Of Leadership from Transformers

I'm no nuke-ologist but I assume there is a procedure that doesn't require the VP to be on-site to hand it off

Forgive me, it's hard to keep up with this. What does that mean?
In the US our president keeps what is called the "football" aka a device with info to coordinate and launch our nuclear strikes. This is to be carried with the president at all times in the event that we would need to launch an immediate nuclear counterattack. But if Biden is not conscious/alive, he obviously couldn't do that if some emergency came about, and if it ever got out that he was dead and they had us undefended it would be a major shit storm, especially if we got attacked in that time.
Kamala could be going to Delaware to take the Football while they continue to keep Biden's unconscious body/corpse locked away until they cement a game plan

there's probably more.

Forgive me, it's hard to keep up with this. What does that mean?
The nuclear football. Its the command center that allows the president to give the command to launch nukes.

I want Biden to get 25th amendment-ed and Kamala to become temporary president. That would be the best case scenario. Leftists are excited about Kamala because they have forgotten the old saying - "nothing ever happens". A few months of her presidency should take off that edge of excitement and remind them come election month that she won't make their lives better. Anything to lower their enthusiasm.

And when she loses, the first woman president will always and forever have been her, put in charge not through the will of the people, but through the melting brain of the bugman who picked her as a diversity hire. And I think that's funny.
The comical images of her ineptitude make me want this... until I remember she's exactly the type of self-actuating puppet that would ram through a dozen administrative troon supreme court judges.

He's an old unstable narcissist who was just forced out of a second term of the presidency, they're hiding him because they're giving him time to cool off so he doesn't blow up or act pissed in interviews. Remember, he has been a politician his entire life. There was an interview I read with someone who knew him in his twenties - he was already saying then that he wanted to be President of the United States. Imagine devoting your entire life to something - decades and decades of interviews, schmoozing, lying, speeches, backroom deals, and persona crafting, only to finally get your four years in the spotlight and drop the ball. He has to realize he will be remembered as a bad President, because he was a bad President. For the sake of his ego, he needed those next four years to salvage his legacy. A legacy half a century in the making. But people who stand for nothing don't leave a legacy, that's what he never understood. The men that history reveres are revered because of the causes they fought for, not the mere fact that they held power. Tell me, how many people think about President Warren G. Harding? I certainly don't. I don't know anything about him. That's what Biden will be in 100 years. A footnote. And he knows it.

That's why he's laying low. Maybe he's actually dying, but personally, I don't believe it.
