He's not dead. They wouldn't change the flags before announcing it. What would they have to gain from hiding it anyway? The backlash from hiding his death, even for a day, would be worse than any potential benefit, because they can't hide his death all the way up until the election.

Check the news, a criminal probably got shot by a police officer again or something.

Argument could be made that the full Joepocalypse wasn't expected to be this swift, so the team has been running ragged trying to square away their available contingencies at a time when the Democrat party has never been more divided.

They'll announce that he was dead but reincarnated like Jesus to rule America once again in the name of God. That would have the best chances against Trump miracle.

A lot of voters didn't like an election between two old men. Cameltoe looks and sounds a lot younger than Trump. She can also show off at a debate. Yes, she sucks at it, but she just needs the media on her side to beat Trump. That was proof how demented Joe was because he couldn't even take the softballs CNN was throwing him.

She also looks nice for suburban white ladies and black women might turn out for her.

Because it looks fucking awful. It doesn’t look like they can put forward a united front. It’s be unironically hilarious if he died as they tried doing a silent coup and no one trusts anyone any more.

If someone can explain to my why there would be any benefit at all to hiding his death, maybe I'll believe it. On the contrary, swearing Kamala in right after Biden "endorses" her would give her media coverage for weeks, most of it probably with a positive spin.

Him dying right now would make it seem less like they pulled a "coup"," because him being seriously ill is a legitimate reason for him to end his campaign, as opposed to him ending it because too many people were pressuring him. They have every incentive to announce it right away.

They were pretty adamant about covering up Biden's clear mental decline for months despite obvious signs of the contrary. They clearly do not want Kamala to be in charge.
