I don’t think Dems are losing sleep over not appealing to people who would never vote for them anyway.

Considering that Trump and the MAGA cult hates women, running a woman is not a bad idea. They wouldn't vote for her anyway.
I doubt they'll pick Shapiro since he just won his governor race 2 years ago and it's a swing state. They'd be better off picking someone like Roy Cooper, who is term limited, or a senator/governor from a hard-blue state

In a way yes, but the left wasn’t nearly as motivated for Hillary as it appears to be for Kamala.
I still remember Hill-“dawg” on stage at a rally trying to act approachable “helloo mai frieeeeeeends” in that weird crazy cat-lady voice. It’s like when a person who’s an asshole tries to act friendly. No wonder people didn’t show up to the ballot box.
People defended her at the time saying “she’s a policy wonk!”, which is fine but that’s probably better for someone who works in a senate/house committee than the oval office.
It’s only been two days but i’m getting Obama ‘08 vibes from what i’m reading online. Will it translate into success in November? That’s the big question, but the mood from the left seems completely different than the past few months.

Nobody has the kind of enthusiasm for dicksucker Harris like they did President Obama in 2008 or even 2012. Everybody knows she has zero capability to be President and only got where she is on her knees.
Not even in the same league, any enthusiasm is 100% astroturfed. She's just not Trump, that's all she has going for her.

But that’s what makes this election pretty fascinating. Biden stepping down seemingly motivated the left to accept Harris as the candidate is wild to see.
Historically when the incumbent stepped down from re-election, the associated party lost. But since most people who aren’t MAGA simps are sick of Trump, this shit can go either way.

I do think there is a winning strategy for the Dems, and that is, keep Kamala in the fridge as much as they can, basically a repeat of the 2020's strategy. The less she talks, the higher the chances of her winning solely based on Trump hate and her accolades of being a brown woman.

I disagree. Right now, Trump is still polling higher, and I don't think he will lose any support unless something big comes out. Kamala needs to win over the people who are unsure if they will even vote at all, and she can't do that if she hides herself. It's also why it would have been good to have someone else as a nomination, give her a chance to show she has got it and something that will have press that gets out to more people, and for her to win the nomination, rather than just be given it.
