CRX has to be referring to Crunchy Roll Expo - which hasn't taken place irl since 2022, so these messages are very outdated now.

Unless there's more screenshots besides this one I grabbed of r/KotakuInAction, it's a nothingburger.

I'd say it's more likely a tossup between nijisisters and general dramafags
Dramafags always want to try it with new talents, fwmc got tons of bait supas like that early on and just ignored them too
and Nijisisters have really been desperately trying everything except actually watching and supporting the people they like
It's really obvious from their attempts to cause drama between Phase and other companies because they've never actually watched any of them and know almost nothing about the people they're trying to bait with

Normally I wouldn't think the "we" thing mattered, but she then awkwardly tried to correct it which made me think of Wontons. And the amusing thing about Dizzy is that she advised Sakana against hiring Shiina for that incident (despite the fact that she would be taking on a new persona). Like of course its not as clear cut as "my boyfriend" but the details are in the reaction and normally I think she would have just said "We" and went with it. I don't think anyone should be surprised if this is indeed a boyfriend yab but at the same time she has kind of built her whole identity on "not getting a man" so its just kind of funny all the way around.

What it probably is is that ok, pretty much all Vtubers have a SO and I would say that it wasn't strictly a boyfriend yab but for some reason she took it as one and awkwardly tried to fix it. It would be funny though if she quit her job because she got a sugar daddy I suppose. But again thats all speculation. Gut instinct tells me that yeah this is a boyfriend yab, but I wouldn't bet on it really.

I really wish there was more information about Kiki out there to warrant a thread since she's a genuinely disturbing individual, and while I don't usually like putting too much emotional investment in shit I read on the laugh-at-retards forum, her mentioning having worked with children before makes me wish someone had her full legal name that they could post next to the screenshot of her saying she's attracted to children so it's easily searchable. If she were to ever go back into teaching, that's the kind of information that 100% needs to be flagged up on a background check, but I worry all the documentation on her strictly revolving around her vtuber name could let her slip through the cracks.

In general though, vtuber-specific threads are cursed from conception. The vtuber community is well gatekept and most vtuber-related drama tends to have a bit of required reading before you can properly appreciate what's going on. I thought the Nijisanji shitshow earlier in the year was hilarious because it was impressive seeing them piss away all their goodwill in the most retarded way possible, but to anyone who wasn't already familiar with Nijisanji or how vtuber talent agencies work, the takeaway would probably just be that some nip company fired a chick and she got sad.

I like Pippa, but she's not above criticism, and if people want to talk about her drama there should be a thread. The problem is, barely anyone's actually talking about Pippa, it's just turned into a place for people to vent their grievances with vtubing as a whole using Pippa as a kind of mascot they can ascribe everything they don't like about it onto, while being antagonistic to her fans in the thread who could actually give them information about the intended subject. We're in a weird situation where Pippa's fans could genuinely make a more damning thread about her and her community than the people who seem to hate her the most; hell probably about half of the Pippa liveposting thread on TVA is people making fun of her for the dumb shit she says and does.
