Boogie calling the Gnome's bluff was pretty funny but also infuriating at the same time because of how much of a self-pitying loser he is.

If he REALLY wanted to change to better his health he would do things like stop having his roommates take care of all his needs. Stay under 2500 calories, do house chores, mow the lawn. Not only would it solve his health problems, it would also go towards improving his financial situation by reducing the amount of daily calories he needs to pay for.
