Most of, if not all, of Copmala's campaign promises she made today
a people powered campaign
a people first presidency

focused on the future
focused on the past

a future where
every person has the opportunity to just not only get by, but to get ahead
no child will have to grow up in poverty
every worker has the freedom to join a union
every person has affordable healthcare
every person has affordable childcare
every person has paid family leave
every senior can retire with dignity

building up the middle class a defining goal
when the middle class is strong, america is strong

Trump wants to take the country backwards
Trump's Project 2025 agenda will weaken the middle class
Trump wants to cut social security and medicare
tax breaks to billionaires and big corps
make working families foot the bill
end the affordable care act
take us back to when Ins. companies can deny people with pre-existing conditions

we're not going back
ours is a fight for the future
ours is a fight for freedom

we believe in the sacred freedom to vote
make sure every american has the ability to cast their ballot and have it count

we who believe should have that every person in our nation should have the freedom to live safe from the terror of gun violence
we'll finally pass red flag laws, universal background checks, and assault weapons ban
we who believe in reproductive freedom will stop Trump's extreme abortion bans
we trust women to make decision about their own bodies and not have their government tell them what to do
when congress passes a law to restore reproductive freedoms, as president, I will sign it into law

in this election, we face a question:
what kind of country do we want to live in:
a country of freedom, compassion, and rule of law
or a country of chaos, fear, and hate

we each have the power to answer that question
the power is with the people
This is literally joe biden's campaign, but with a vagina.

edit: these points are verbatim what she said. I tried to be as accurate as possible.

Who had the Yellowstone Caldera erupting and taking out 1/3 of the country as the October Surprise on their 2024 Election Bingo Card?
If these keep happening with increasing frequency, then shit might hit the fan. But it might just be a one off.

YVO Yellowstone GREEN/NORMAL - Small hydrothermal explosion in Biscuit Basin; volcanic activity remains at background https://bit.ly/4bVi3zi

~10:00 AM MST on July 23, 2024, a small hydrothermal explosion occurred in Yellowstone National Park in the Biscuit Basin thermal area, about 2.1 miles (3.5 km) northwest of Old Faithful. The explosion appears to have originated near Black Diamond Pool.

Numerous videos of the hydrothermal explosion in Biscuit Basin were recorded by visitors. The boardwalk was damaged. No reports of injury. Biscuit Basin is temporary closed. The Grand Loop road remains open. Yellowstone National Park geologists are investigating the event.

Hydrothermal explosions occur when water suddenly flashes to steam underground. They are relatively common in Yellowstone. An explosion similar to that of today also occurred in Biscuit Basin on May 17, 2009.

The volcano remains at normal background levels of activity. Monitoring data show no changes in the Yellowstone region as a result of today’s hydrothermal explosion.

When Trump is asked, he should simply say it's a hoax, and state his real agenda. Otherwise just ignore it. He doesn't want to protest too much.
I'll say good luck to it because I remember in the 2020 debates, bidena and Kamala kept bringing up Charlottesville. Which is why I'm annoyed that project 2025 is the main talking point

I would agree if this was a one off poll showing this, but every single poll has Trump winning with the young vote, so there is something going on there when even the most leftwing polls are finding it.
My guess is that they youth vote, while young, were still cognisant enough to remember how things were during the Trump years, compare them to how the Biden years are going, and realizing that Trump really wasn't that bad in hindsight.

LOL if Yellowstone goes the election will the the least of mankind worries. That's an extinction level event right there that is.

Look up something called the Siberian Traps if your curious as to what happens when a super-volcano go pop.
I refuse to believe baby Jesus deflected the bullet just to troll us with false hope.

If Trump pulls off a 40 point swing in a demographic, that's not just a regular election cycle. That's a fundamental rewriting of the political landscape, changing 50 years worth of politics. I'd think that takes more than some felony convictions and a clipped ear.

there's a lot I'm willing to sacrifice if it means California gets blown up

The optimism poll posting is poison.

The only way Repubs lose the election is if voters are convinced it’s a won election, don’t show up, then the dems fortify in key locations.

The best thing that can be done is convincing repub voters they have to get out and vote or the country is over.

Exactly. That's Trump shouldn't waste too much time trying to refute it, because they're going to keep barking about it no matter what he says. Trump should just stick with ignoring it as much as possible, and reiterating his real agenda when he's asked about it directly.
