I am unclear on one point, has April been re-arrested and is now in custody again?

She was arrested and released without charges. She is now being charged again. She received a summons for her first appearance next month.I am unclear on one point, has April been re-arrested and is now in custody again?
No. A summons has been issued so she can be arranged. If she blows off that hearing a warrant will be issued for her arrest.I am unclear on one point, has April been re-arrested and is now in custody again?
I will give 100% credit to @MNPublicRecords for finding this, because the case doesn't show up if you just search her name. The case number is required to find it
Which makes no sense
Ah... We meet again, Mr. Brown...

I am legitimately obsessed with what this could be. I need a new fixation now that the beeping robot on Nick's LOCALS streams is gone.
Nick cannot be assed to drive his human fleshlight anywhere unless it is to acquire more booze, hookers, or blow, so she's going to be held in contempt of court for missing her arraignment hearing.No. A summons has been issued so she can be arranged. If she doesn't show they simply issue a bench warrant.Nick cannot be assed to drive his human fleshlight anywhere unless it is to acquire more booze, hookers, or blow, so she's going to be held in contempt of court for missing her arraignment hearing.

It's a weirdo Minnesota thing. Cases don't show up in a search by Defendant name unless and until a conviction. It's probably somewhere either in court rules, or maybe even a statute.Which makes no sense
Ralph visited the Rekieta compound?! When did this happen?!?It was shart residue.
Looks like Nick saying she was just visiting after being found in bedroom with Kayla along with Kayla saying she was nanny even after all their kids were taken did not play with the prosecutor after they flaunted the thruple on the news.Amazing work! This file can apparently also be found in the MRCO system with the case number 34-CR-24-487. Here are the pdfs.
She has her first appearance in court on August 28th by Zoom.
Revenge of the pug:This is a real mystery. I thought the lab would have done the mystery drug results before the hair results. Unless he got sold a bunk batch and tried to turn baby laxative into crack. Anything's possible at this point
The above is new. See page 3 of of the summons just dropped.IMHOLTE'S purse was located in the hallway inside the master bedroom leading to the attached bathroom.
Yes, this second quote block is information we already had, but it is from a supplement I do not recognize. We have supp. 1 and the beginning of supp. 2 of ICR 24004152 from images stitched together from Kino Casino, but this block isn't present nor do the two officers misspell "REKEITA". If another document aficionado has more than the summary page in the public file and supp. 1, I would love to know since I missed them.NICHOLAS REKEITA and KAYLA REKEITA were placed under arrest. While being placed under arrest, Detective Pomplun noted several injuries to the arms of NICHOLAS REKEITA that appeared consistent with sores that are common with controlled substance users.
No, she has been issued a SUMMONS to appear on her own recognizance to a hearing August 28, 2024 via Zoom. She needs to show up to that hearing or a warrant will be issued.I am unclear on one point, has April been re-arrested and is now in custody again?
Sounds like they’re trying to get her to flip. The statement of probable cause for April's charges appears largely identical to Nick and Kayla's but there is some additional information.
One of the vials that field tested positive for coke was found directly on top of April's credit cards.

April is only charged with fifth degree possession (>0.25g) which one might guess only refers to the quantity in that black vial. Nick and Kayla are facing second degree possession charges (>25.0g, note the location of the decimal)

In addition, April's purse was found in a hallway between the master bedroom and bathroom.

Perhaps that’s the states plan. Charge April then when she doesn’t show they get a warrant And raid the house again to get additional evidence. If she doesn't show they simply issue a bench warrant.
No bench warrant for her arrest. Not a search warrant. When you blow off a summons, they tend to throw you in jail so they don't have to worry about you appearing in front of the court. When a judge is available to hear the matter they take you from the jail to the courtroom. Or do that Zoom think like they did with Nick and Kayla. It's what you call a captive audience.Perhaps that’s the states plan. Charge April then when she doesn’t show they get a warrant And raid the house again to get additional evidence.
I’m pretty sure that you have to be personally served a summons for an initial appearance in a case.Just realized I missed something. Since it's posted here Nick will be aware of it. He would have never known if they just sent it to his P.O. box.
Correct, but the tattoo festival took place from July 12 to July 14 and the news coverage would have been contemporaneous to that. That doesn't mean that it had anything to do with it though. My guess is it probably didn't because it was already known April was living on their property. It can't be the public appearance that caused this. The state filed their complaint on the 16th.
Pretty sure Aaron said that April also had an auto insurance check sent there as well.Pretty strange that April's court documents are being sent to Nick's corporate PO box. I don't think it breaks any laws or rules, but it seems quite shady. Would she be able to receive notifications of deliveries to that PO box and retrieve them herself, or is she now entirely dependent upon Nick for that?
A bench warrant gets them into the house and then common areas and plain sight are fair game. You see, they get to do a terry search of the common areas of the house and the areas that the subject was in for their safety. No bench warrant for her arrest. Not a search warrant.
