I believe it started as "Anti-Ship" and "Pro-Ship", in the anime community, where a lot of the ships the "Antis" were up in arms about were problematic ships such as those which were pedophilic. So it wasn't just an anti pedo thing to begin with, it's just morphed into that with time.
