I don't know if they've said it, but it's essentially what Oney and the whole crew did.
The tweets where he defends him are from 2018, and as someone mentioned earlier on the thread, they sort of "soft-rebooted" around 2019 and cut ties with a lot of people, like Shad and Arin.
They tend not to address drama at all, so I don't expect them to comment on this.

Like it or not, Muta has a big number of normie fans who will never accept the farms no matter how much the people going against us are proven wrong and proven to be awful people we claimed they were.
We will always be the "bullying" site to them, even when we are right.
I think Muta knows none of that is true but he still has an audience to maintain so full on support to the farms could get him into some hot waters with some fans of his. It's just best not to rock the boat.

I think Null said once on a MATI stream that it will always be very hard for people to defend this site and himself to normies, and I think, to a lot of degrees, is very true. I've yet to see anyone staunchly defend this site that wasn't a freedom of speech and freedom of expression absolutist.

i think we are at a point in time now where much of the old internet is either ignored or forgotten so every time something is brought back into the current stream of things all the people who were not there are offended and lose their minds over it and the people who were there are forced to either denounce it or deal with retards screaming at you on twitter for being ok with something that was generally not nearly as big of a deal back then as it is now.
shadman is a great example of this. his whole thing was that he would draw whatever the fuck he wanted no matter how morally fucked it was and back then that made him the cool edgy artist guy who people loved to make memes about.
i still remember the jokes whenever a new animated movie or cartoon or whatever came out that shadman was instantly going to be there to make porn of it. he would even pop up in the comments sometimes and everyone would be like "shadmans at it again lol". going after everyone who supported him in the past will solve nothing.
not all of them are pedos some people did just genuinely like his non porn artwork. there is also the other thing that i think some people might be forgetting about shadman he did more than just draw children he would constantly draw female characters with dicks.
the argument could even be made that the reason we have AGP troons like chris tyson here is because they fried their minds looking at shadmans art of various female characters having dicks.
all that being said the drama vultures are obviously going to do what they can to farm as much as they can from anyone associated to shadman but honestly shadman is just a drop in the bucket for the real degenerates like chris tyson and in my opinion all this energy being spent on shadman should be spent going after people chris tyson associated with.
like finnster who is now associated with 3 pedophiles. the shad stuff just feels like a distraction from the real problems.

I agree that she must have known something was up. Question is, did she just think he was a bit of a perv or did she know there was more to it? I'd also like to know how old she was when they got married, since I'm sure a woman in her late teens/early twenties is more likely to ignore the red flags as quirky or something he'll grow out of. (I also don't understand the joke and am glad I don't.)

Oney's (and the rest of his crew's) defense of Shad was always "he's completely different in real life, he's just playing a character online." They were all either willfully ignorant of how deep the pedo shit with Shad went and dismissed all the accusations and leaks outright without looking into them, or they knew and were actively sweeping up for him.
That quote's from 2018, before he cut off Stamper. He actually cut Stamper and Shad off for basically the same thing, screeching on Twitter and trying to drag him into drama he's not involved in. He'd gone years without mentioning Shad and just remaining silently mutuals with him, until iirc Shad had a massive freakout on Twitter a couple years back and was demanding Chris, Zach, etc. give him a full throated defense or something.
