The real reason why this wasn't talked about a year ago is simple and easy!
Mr.Beast was still working with Night Media.
What is Night Media? An agency owned by Disney that is involved with pretty much all most famous Youtubers and Streamers. Unfortunately, I cannot get access to the full list of who is connected to them, because they made it impossible for a normal guy to get his hands on that.
But there is a copy of it in the Wayback.machine and an archive of it, in case it gets wiped.
Just look at how many e-celebs were all being controlled by Disney. Imagine how many internet communities they can influence. They don't need to own everyone, they just need to own enough people to force everyone else to be quiet. And that's what Disney did when people started talking about Chris Tyson, they just made every e-celeb shut up or talk of the poor trans person.
Now here is a fun thing. At around 10:30 of the video below, Keemstar himself admits that Night Media purchased his management company, saying that he talked with his contacts there about Mr. Beast. This means that the gnome has a relationship with them as well.
So the real reason Chris Tyson was spared the cancel-guillotine is because suits up in Disney told their pet-celebs to ignore the matter, to sweep it up. But now? Now Mr. Beast is no longer associated with them, no longer giving them a profit.
Thus, when the opportunity arose, they allowed their dogs to feast. I'm 100% convinced that Keem called up his suit-overlord to ask if he could complain Chris Tyson before he made any decision. What you're all seeing now is just corporate allowing the people to attack someone who no longer gives them profit, simple as that.
