Munroe plumbs new depths of establishment brownnosing. I believe this is just a copy of a Hillary meme where the bottom category was "uncomfortably familiar with legal and moral grey areas." In this case Kamala is so vacuous he can't think of anything interesting to say about her. Could have at least gone for some "prosecutor vs. felon" dynamic. His "I'm with her" Hillary cartoon had way more effort put in than this.

There was a time XKCD seemed kind of original and countercultural, at least in terms of something that a comp sci professor might print out and post on their office door. Now it's just serving up pure 200-proof globohomo propaganda.

The way they are astroturfing her "quirkaaay" love of Venn diagrams of all things, as proof that she's an adorkable and relatable nerd- it just makes me think of the Quirk Chungus meme:

And I'm not even sure I agree with this anymore either. Seems to me the old Federalist/States players have banded together to fight each other another day because these fucking globalists don't want us to have a nation to argue over in the first place. I'm not sure even the most diehard Federalist would approve of the level of control the modern American government holds over its people.

Sheesh what a time. :stress:

It's basically just a big wishlist from the Heritage Foundation on what they would like the Conservative agenda to be and it is being used as a boogyman by the Left.

Project 2025 does want to reduce funding to the IRS and do a flat tax rate so I honestly couldn't possibly be more excited for it.

2-2.5% of the population, roughly 70% vote Democrat. But the Democrats also have a sizable radical wing, who love underdogs and revolutionary LARPing, and so have been pro-Palestinian for decades.

I think the calculus is they need to keep that wing voting for them more than the widely dispersed Jewish vote. As long as they can avoid the dreaded anti-Semite label, they can try to thread the needle. Having the Pres and VP avoid a foreign head of state is rank cowardice, but Team Basement doesn't care at this point.

It makes sense when you realize Netanyahu believes that only a few actual humans died on 9/11, with the rest being subhuman "goyim." Whereas October 7th was all god's chosen people, the only actual humans on Earth.

I generally agree that young people are getting more right wing, but I don’t think that’s the entire story. I think it’s that we’re seeing a trend rightward, but also a greater schism in the youth.
I know in my circles, while there are more right wingers than before, and more vocal ones, the counter is that the leftists have become even more leftists.
So when zoomers do get into power, it’s going to be a rather extreme right wing majority, with a sizable and radical left wing. At least based upon my anecdotal experience, for how little that counts.

As a side note, I find it interesting how women tend towards the extremes. I don’t think I’ve ever meet a moderate Zoomette.
