I remain unconvinced the recent Boogie2988 shit isn't solely the creation of Keemstar. This fake cancer, abuse, suicide drama strikes me as an attempt to reinvigorate the show. He might not be orchestrating every minute detail, but Keemstar knows how to create and market drama. This is by far and away the most attention the show has ever gotten, right? It has essentially coasted until it was close enough to the ground to crash and burn and now Keemstar wants to put it in a position to coast comfortably again.

There is nothing Boogie wouldn't do for money and Keemstar knows it.

if keems not having fat fuck bloodsports with either boogie or wings the show fails and keem knows it. unfortunately wingy is a piss baby and whined the last time it happened to him so it had to be dialed back. the show is at its best when wings and boogie are being tarred and feathered. im just enjoying taking a shit on boogie regardless because even if this is all fake he still deserves it.

we are well beyond that point imo, keems gonna make money right now regardless. if the show was on its last legs i would 100% agree with you, that the funniest outcome would be boogie and wings losing that income and nobody should watch. when that day comes we will not watch it together but for now, for the second time in my life, im going to watch this pig slop shit show to watch boogie get lit on fire. the point to remember is that even if it is fake it makes boogie seem more loathsome and will cause more people to hate him, which is of course a net positive.

No, especially if another offer comes on the table. I find it much less likely Boogie will bit the hand that feeds him without an exit plan, though. Keemstar's assuming the safer bet is relying on Boogie's absolute shamelessness and lack of any scruples vs. the collective ability of all involved with Lolcow Live to create organically entertaining content, a justified assumption.

Look at the traffic this has pushed towards an otherwise painfully unremarkable show. Every big name reacting to this is driving money into Keemstar's pockets. Every. Single. One. It's a cynical game and Boogie2988 is happy to stuff his pockets because Zepbound isn't cheap.

I agree with all your points except this one. Dumb fuck Boogie has never read a book let alone does he have the reading comprehension to pull anything useful from one if he tried.

I’ve heard that people think Keem has a soft spot for Boogie and that’s why he’s going easy on him. I don’t get that feeling at all. I think Keem will never fire boogie because his presence makes Keem money and that’s the end of it.

Keem is smart enough to feign sympathy for Boogie to appear as if he is a good person to his obvious. The problem is he appears so fake and disingenuous that it falls apart for me.

With wingo, Keem has a 15 year history with him. I remember a time when Wings was faking suicide for views and striking Keem’s channel, and then he doxed Keem’s girlfriend trying to threaten Keem saying he’ll shoot him. I can’t imagine he would forget something like that so easily, but with money involved who knows?
