Any time a post, or story mentions narcissism, there is a tsunami of long comments from women all talking about their relationship with a supposed narc. Why I can't get behind "At least Joe..." posts. Asking who's better is a fool's errand. That said, give me an honest-to-God retard over the self-satisfied, feigned cunning of a malicious midwit.

I'm in a disgusted mood as I finally resign my dream to farm one small patch of Joedom, Pleasure and Efficacy (certainly a patch well-fertilised with utter shit). I've read his sources extensively. I love George Eliot. Joe can't really read, in the sense of extracting meaning. So I thought I'd be the right man for the job. And yet there are no lolz here. It's just fucking soul-destroying. He'll analyse a passage from Eliot with all the skill of a burnt out middle school teacher holding forth on Lord of the Flies, with all the same mediocre assumptions -- the author has a simple, easy-to-articulate goal, and achieves it in passage X using techniques X, Y, Z. It won't surprise anyone here that he doesn't have a genuine artistic bone in his body.

Originally I wrote out something like a refutation of his thoughts on Eliot, but why spread this virus? How can someone be so wrong and yet so boring?
