Bad webcomics

I've been thinking about this webcomic that I briefly read, probably in the early to mid 2000s. It was kind of an edgy comic - like a lot else was in that era of the Internet - but I can't remember the title of it for anything. I don't remember it being a bad comic... not like some of the crap in this thread, but it probably is pretty cringe in retrospect. But maybe somebody here still might know it.

All I can really remember about it right now is it was about two mid-20s guys, whose names I also can't remember, who had been friends in college or something. At the very beginning of the comic's story the main character goes to visit the other guy in California. While visiting, a Jehova's Witness knocks on the door and in response the Californian friend immediately blasts the evangelist to death with a shotgun. The visiting friend is mortified, initially, but the other character assures him that hunting them is legal in California, and so, the next time a Jehova's Witness is at the door, he also joins in murdering them and they decide to become roomates or something.

Any chance anybody has read and remembers the name of that comic or who wrote it?
Was it Niego?

It's a shame there's no big archive for these old comics any more, most of the directories that collected them together are gone now. Which is a shame, places like online-comics.net was great for keeping track of comics and finding new shit... in 2005, at least.
Yeah, I tried looking through some comics directories and it's either "here's 75,000 titles in which most of the artists got bored and quit after six weeks and, for your enjoyment, no sensible way to filter anything" or "here's the same 50 titles everyone knows already, are you suuuure it isn't Questionable Content." There's archives of online-comics.net, but its spotty and not all from the same time period, so some pages will seem exactly the same as the previous page because of ranking changes and stuff.

Was it Niego?
I ran through their first year of comics and doesn't seem like it.

A knock from Jehova's Witnesses pamphleteer a few days ago just made me remember this comic it out of the blue and I've been trying to rack my mind about it since. The general structure was pretty similar: basic situational comedy about those two guys; I can't remember any supporting characters. Not saying there weren't any, just that I am forgetful. At least it definitely wasn't a furry or a weeaboo comic, which probably narrows the field by 70% at least.

The only other plot beat I managed to recall about it so far was about the guys, in another in a scheme to make money, tried to think of something stupid to market to Hot Topic that dumb trendy mall goths would buy. (I vaguely remember them having a general disdain for mall goths. It was the early 2000s, after all, so we still had goths to make fun of.) The resulting prototype was essentially a hummingbird feeder filled with blood, marketed as a "mosquito feeder," and Hot Topic actually bought it off them so for a brief time they were living high on the hog.

Found this one on rDrama.

On one hand, why are you asking why they censored a baby’s ass?

On the other hand… why did they censor the baby’s ass? The way they’re talking about it implies there was a point where AFV were alright with a full moon on TV, and I’m curious as to what caused the shift.

Remind's me of that webcomic by NAMBLA called Christopher's Boy Moment

Fuuuucking hell. From the art I thought they stopped making this shit in 2006
I'd just like to add an addendum to my post:
The reason why everything's in crayola markers is because the artist is in jail :story:

Here's an interview:
Nambla.: You do all of this from prison? Chris: Yep. I sit on my bunk using my knees as a platform with a homemade drawing board. I usually have my TV on or I listen to Def Leppard.
N.: Does anyone around you know what you’re drawing?
C.: Only my very closest friends.
N.: Do you prefer the writing or drawing aspect.
C.: Drawing is much harder for me, which is probably why my artwork looks the way it does.
N.: Aren’t you a bit hard on yourself? After all, even the early works of Walt Disney lacked the polish he later developed. Isn’t it the concept that is of greater importance?
c.: I suppose you’re right.
N.: The protagonist in StarGazing, Evan, is a musician. You were a composer in the music world and you played guitar at the professional level. Is Evan based on you?
C.: His personality and talents are mine, including the juggling and the way he’s led by his emotions. He doesn’t look like me though. I drew him more handsome.
N.: Where did you get the idea for the graphic novel?
C.: The news, TV, articles I read. When I started the story, I thought I’d struggle to come up with ideas, but that hasn’t been a problem at all. Focusing on the theme of boys’ lives inspires me.
N.: Some of the cartoon situations are quite funny. Others are of deeper meaning.
C.: Yeah, the funny ones are more fun to draw and they actually do make me laugh sometimes.
N.: Why are you incarcerated.
C.: I loved a boy deeply who loved me back. We weren’t allowed to express that love physically, and so here I am. But we were both very happy together. Thankfully, he’s led a successful, healthy life.
N.: Are you doing OK?
C.: I miss him terribly, but I am sustained but I’m sustained by what we once had. I’m doing very well, I feel strong. Contributing to Nambla helps give me a sense of purpose.
N.: What’s the worst thing about prison?
C.: The food. And no boys to cherish or even look at. Thank goodness for TV.

I have this homie who knows of this old webcomic he discusses every now and then. I know I brought it up in some other thread, but we just discovered this one not that long ago. While the guy who wrote it apparently left the face of the web, we both agreed to document a historic potential lolcow.

Crazy Koopa's comic, Crazy Comics, is no longer online, but we managed to save as much as we can. Also, it's archived in a few places, such as this one.

There's quite a history surrounding it, especially since the "current" comic isn't even the original. While this one has almost 200 pages, my homie said the original had about 800. For now, I'll show you the first few pages.

There's also comments on some of the pages, such as the first one. Due to a dumb update applied to the webcomic in its last couple of years, the oldest comment is on the bottom instead of the top.

I'll tell you more as we go along. Crazy even has an older sister who is just as nuts as he is.

From the webcomic that brought you "Joe Biden has a nice middle name" (s), XKCD continues its endorsement of the Democratic Party with "Kamala Harris likes Venn diagrams" (s). How lovely.

Hard to imagine political rhetoric more microtargeted at me than 'I love Venn diagrams. I really do, I love Venn diagrams. It's just something about those three circles.'
(Yes, she really did say that.)
