He was diagnosed over a decade ago if I remember correctly. Although I think this is the first time that she has confirmed that it was indeed Type 2. That was definitely an in-thread debate at one point.

As we've also discussed in the Lou Gagliardi thread, part of the confusion is that diabetes is a disability... under the ADA. A working diabetic is supported in asking for reasonable accommodations from their employer, like a consistent lunch time or an exception to a "no food" rule for emergency glucose. Government won't pay for you to stay home and not drink soda pop, but they'll be the unspoken threat that makes sure your boss lets you go somewhere clean to test and inject.

Maybe Polissa's playing the long game. Keep Joh away from doctors and full of carbohydrates until his kidneys go or he's legally blind. Imagine two disability incomes for her to manage! That'll make up for never gestating her own sped.

IIRC she wasn't evicted from the shitshack. The landlord just didn't renew the lease. And even though the LL gave her several months notice, Polly still acted shocked about it and waited until the last minute to do anything about it, which is why she ended up on grandmas couch and Joh was shitting in the woods.

Pissa previously lived with Josh, Chris, someone named Kat and at least two little girls in a three-bedroom brick home. She claims to have lived there for over a year. She witheld rent, probably due to being incapable of paying a $700 bill over water damage, and got evicted.

In 2017 she moved in to the house she lived in at the start of the thread, which looked perfectly nice when she got there. She ran it down into an absolute hellhole.

In 2019 she was complaining of being on her third slumlord. So before HellHouse and BrickHouse there was another abode.

Then she moved into La Casa, and we all know how that ended.

It's worth noting that she qualifies (qualified?) for government housing/Section 8, but she refuses to do it because "she values her freedom over any government program or assistance".

She claims to have lived there for over a year. I'm looking for the receipts, but I know at some point she explained she refused to pay rent, and got kicked out she witheld rent payments, claiming something about repairs, and got evicted.

Her stupidity never fails to astound me.

Depending on local laws and how tenant-friendly they are, going on a rent strike to get a shitty landlord to make necessary repairs or remediate hazards can work. But you have to get a lawyer involved, who will open an escrow account, into which you will pay your rent. All of the back rent will ultimately be released to the landlord, once the issues have been fully addressed.

You don't just stop paying rent. The landlord may not be upholding their end of your rental agreement, but that doesn't allow you to nope out on your end. If you want to avoid eviction, you need to show proof that you are acting in good faith and depositing your rent payment every month.

Also, rent strikes only work in larger apartment buildings/complexes where a majority, if not all, of the tenants form a union and go on strike together, because trying to evict so many tenants all at once is more than most landlords are willing or able to do. They most definitely do not work when obstinate white trash simply decides not to pay rent on the aging, falling-apart shoebox of a house they can barely afford.

Um, I am still going through a bit of a hard time at the moment! I'm still houseless! Um, I did find a resource that may be able to help me gain housing! So, um, there's that! Looking forward to trying to go down that road! Um, I know everything I need to do to get uh, that resource tapped into, and I'll be working on that in the next, um, couple of days! Uh, we're still trying to find Josh a job!

Um, my cats are still up at my grandmother's! They are wearing out their welcome very quickly! Especially one cat, Matilda! Um, I was told to get rid of her, just because she's getting on my grandmother's car!

So if anyone knows of any animal rescues, um, that can help taking some cats, I would greatly appreciate it! Because the local shelter is not answering their phone! I've called multiple times! They are not answering their Facebook Messenger! And the other rescues I have found local aren't answering the emails! So I don't know what to do! Um, so anyone on TikTok, cat ladies, help me!

I'm not familiar with tiktok, but the cat ladies will probably help her get them re-homed. It's worth a shot. They won't be nice about it but animal people on social media are nuts.

The problem will start when Pissa decides to use the situation as an excuse for grifting - as soon as Pissa starts bitching about how no help came because she wanted money for transport/cat traps/etc instead of just letting some well-meaning crazy cat lady go and get them then that'll be everything fucked.

I do really want to judge her for all the "these are my BABIES, I would never re-home them!" posts and then fucking everything up so much that she has to re-home them anyway but it's the right decision. I'll just judge her for everything else - including being a lazy bitch and only calling ONE rescue before giving up and asking tiktok to do it for her.

One thing I found interesting is she's still claiming her and Josh are divorced since he cheated on her and tried to smack sense into that fat head. I don't remember her saying he cheated, just that he chimped out. Curious as to why she's still claiming they're happily married in her other begging videos. Perhaps she's back with Josh since it's his friend they're staying with and without this lifeline she'd be in the barn with the cats?
