I was watching Penn And Teller's Bullshit the other day. This show aired in the early 2000s I think. I’d tell you to drive onto a base to see for yourself but you unfortunately don’t have a family member willing to die for Israel or a cushy job extracting wealth from the fed.

Another interesting fact is tacos are legally sandwiches now, because a base food court wanted a Subway and the wrong restaurant purchased the space. Bases are kinda like small towns from a population perspective but they’re run like mini dictatorships by the base commander. Imagine a four lane road but the speed limit is 25 MPH and the cops WILL pull you over for going 5 over. These are big boy federal court tickets too.

I think my explanations are perfectly reasonable:
Option 1) Sexually frustrated military wives are forced to live in a town where they need to drive 25 MPH everywhere and deal with the most anally-retentive traffic cops imaginable. They spend all day at home, sipping wine and talking about how they literally live in a handmaid’s tale.

Option 2) the ultimate tranny janny lives on that base. He logs onto Reddit 500 times a day to goon and 500 times again to sweep. Since base populations are relatively small, he skews the average by being such an outlier.
