On one hand, I do understand Tom's point that "if lava doesn't think he's a victim, doing this is only going to hurt him not chris" and that we have no evidence of trying to meet up and fuck lava is true, however, it is very clear in those dms that Chris was trying to normalize sexual shit being in the discord and if he gave access to those channels to minors (as we now know) tom trying to say Chris wasn't trying to "normalize those conversations" around him is retarded.

This is easily one of the more significantly weird things to come from these logs. But it shows how the team clearly knew this was all fucked up but did nothing to address it, just sat in private channels and bitched like these don't get leaked all the fucking time.

It's all very indicative of 2019/2020 discord period honestly folks. Outside of the first thing this was extremely standard faire for any discord with more than a few thousand members and still is to this day. You get people always raiding you with the intent of posting fucked up shit to get your discord knocked out, in fact as recent as about 8 months ago Carl.gg could be used with a /clap command to post every single channel in a discord with this kind of content (It seemed to be a hack or backdoor). Considering these people were deleting and reporting accounts as it occured I can't in good faith (And noone should either realistically) say this is evidence these guys are fucked, it, infact, shows they know it's all fucked up and to remove/report it.

Just because Lava wasn't traumatized doesn't mean that wrongdoing didn't occur. Chris sending sexual material to a minor is wrong, even if the minor grows up and says "eh, I feel fine."
I think Chris probably still has a skeleton or two in the closet that's yet to be uncovered.

I was editing to validate and address that but I'll do it here.
I hadn't quite picked up on that the moderator was a child (As I was linked those posts, not the surrounding context) and someone then filled me in on that piece of context. To be clear I do 100% agree that a general rule of thumb outside of a friendship group exclusively made up of 13-17 year olds, you shouldn't have minors in any form of moderation or staff team. The rest of it definitely makes it significantly worse but the general idea that as a grown man you'd seek children to staff up is incredibly indicative of grooming.

My nigga, one of the tenets of grooming is getting the victim to believe they haven't been groomed or victimized. The goal is to make the victim believe it's normal.
ETA: Yes, it's possible for someone to have been victimized but genuinely not seriously traumatized by it, but that doesn't mean they weren't victimized. There was still an attempt to make them a victim.
