It is clear he stills loves her, maybe out of blackmail or desperation, however this choice not to do it on his channel and to do it via a not as well known avenue + his talks with Ruben seem to emanate that he thinks this is bad optics, and is scared not because this is bad, but because she got caught redhanded. He is clearly disacioatively living through Gerda's shoes and mind, to some extent, and cannot let himself go.
As for the current situation at hand, it is what I refer to as "do you give the goyim mercy when he blunders". Time and time again he has used your kindness to your advantage, to do things behind your back. However, each time it proves to someone with critical thinking skills that these people are nothing more than lecherous rats. On the other hand, you have the absolute willpower to smite him off the earth with a metaphorical thermonuclear ICBM, which Tristan knows will likely completely fuck him. A portion of his fans are "martyrs to the end", and will likely die for him even if he is exposed, but there is a large portion of his fans who thinks this has gone on too far and they are "waffling on". I expect them to defend him, since retarded nigger cattle like flocking to other retarded nigger cattle in droves, but does it matter?
