Video Game Husbands - Lusting after pixelated men

I've brought him up in other threads but Morgott gets a very special mention from me. Looks like a bum, but remains a Chad. Spurned by his mother, deemed cursed, and died defending the capital he loved most. Spurned by grace, he won it in the end. Best boy.

Messmer has the same countenance as Morgott, albeit he just gave up. Abandoned by his mother, Marika, and doomed to guard the Lands of Shadow from intruders, this snek boy has won many, many hearts. We love a moody warlord. Also greatly respected by his men, so that's another win from me. He earns affection, he doesn't command it entirely.

(Also got Rennala's sister to leave Carian royalty for him, dude had rizz.)

Can't believe I missed Final Fantasy's Auron. Another moody character, he's also witty, sarcastic at times, and badass.

I almost forgot: Final Fantasy XVI's Dion Lesage. The franchise's first openly gay character, he manages to actually be a person instead of your cookie cutter faggot. A true Chad, and a cutie.

He may not like women but I will protect him.
A fellow woman of culture.

Morgott is my favorite Elden Ring character and I was sad about having to put him down, poor guy desperately needed a hug or at least some form of affection (you were too damn late, Godfrey). Radahn's a little too beefy for my taste but definitely a cool guy. And Messmer is gorgeous despite his hilariously lanky proportions *insert dumb impaling joke here*, felt bad killing him too. Another ER guy I'll add is Radagon. He manages to still be hot despite a good chunk of his body having crumbled away. If nothing else, Rennala got lucky in screwing him.

Auron was one of my first video game crushes and remains one of my all-time favorite video game characters. Such a badass. Guy may be dead but he can get it.

Dion is how you make an actually good gay character, handsome and a Chad indeed.

An obscure husband, I'll admit because I'm not entirely sure anyone played The Order 1886 beyond myself who is a Victorianaboo but I liked it despite how short it was (and some nonsensical story...) it had potential but unfortunately squandered the beautiful visuals for subpar gameplay.

There were a few husbands in it including the MC bur Sir Lucan certainly got my interest. I won't spoil but my friends assertion that any character I immediately like is sus turns out to be true. tumblr_nk98q3KDKf1rk1cx8o4_500.png

When I saw this thread I immediately thought of Alistair.

I used to be so in love with this dork. I tried my best to find someone to latch onto similarly in DA2, but I just couldn't. I mean, Anders had really likable moments but he was just a touch too crazy for me. And I just generally have a love/hate relationship with Inquisition.

Kamiwoo from Mystic Ark. Some supplementary material says he's supposed to speak eloquently. He likes animals and chilling in the woods. He's besties with the Cowardly Lion and he's from the world based on fairy tales, which is the coolest one. He's very useful too so I usually have him in my party.

gades.png

Gades from the DS remake of Lufia 2. He has one of the only good designs in the whole game and the only villain with a good design. He reminds me of a mix between Zetta from Makai Kingdom and Ganondorf. I made him in Phantasy Star Portable for lulz and had too much fun dressing him up.

Something a bit more obscure, first there's Jespar from Enderal (a Skyrim mod that's its own game, made by a bunch of germans in a basement). The romance is pretty solid, even if this guy's a complete manwhore, and no matter the ending, nobody gets what they want. The writers did a nice job incorporating the way your romance builds into the story, so it doesn't feel like you give the love interest 7 pies and now you're smashing.

Then from the same game we have the un-romanceable Tharael (if you lack in dignity and try coming onto him he gets extremely pissed and locks you in his bad ending) and it makes sense since this nigga is way too traumatized for any romancing, but damn, going through his quest really makes you simp for him.

I don't know if live action FMVs count because it's not CGI, but Kane from the Command and Conquer series was my celeb crush when I was growing up. My pals liked *NSYNC, but when did Justin ever let you aim an ion cannon? Plus he's charismatic as hell and has a cute evil grin once you complete enough missions to impress him. Joe Kucan's clearly having a lot of fun chewing the scenery, and his enthusiasm's infectious. He makes a great fanatical cult leader, I'd follow him anywhere.
Also in FMVs, Jenks from Contradiction is a very strange character as all adventure game protagonists are, but firmly in "weird crush" territory.

Agree with the Garrus fangirls, it's all about the voice. He sounds like James Spader who also isn't much to look at but has a gorgeous voice. Would, with the lights off.
And Agent 47, he's had a sexy voice even before they made him look hot too.
