i haven't been on here in awhile. how many of these bitches managed to stay fat on ozempic?
Once they figure out how to eat around the Ozempic, it’s over. It’s so expensive if insurance doesn’t cover it, so why they bother I don’t know. There’s no magic trick to losing weight, girlies…

What effect does GB have on stomach bacteria and natural gut flora/fauna?
A significant One. CICO is real of course but your gut flora can break down more or less of what you eat as well. Very obese people have a lot more Archea type species like Methanobacteriales (an archea not a bacterium) which seem to break down more calories from food. Cutting out a lot of the stomach also changes the bacteria in it
The problem is obese people genuinely feel like they are starving to death constantly because of impaired leptin signaling
They do. GLP1 drugs like ozenpic etc should help with this though as GLP1 interacts with both grehlin and leptin.
Can any internet experts explain why fats have to get their gallbladder removed? I never knew that was a fat thing.

I've had issues with my gallbladder randomly, still have no idea what caused the issues. The doctor in the emergency room said gallstones were most common in the "3 Fs" Fat, female and forty..... Apparently the correlation is so high, it's a term used in most countries that speak English.
It’s actually five Fs - fair, fat forty female and fertile. I’m amused they now use three because clearly fair is muh racist. A lot of people who are normal weight have gallbladder issues as well, and about half of the people who have theirs removed continue to have pain and symptoms, so it’s not something I’d rush in to unless it was an emergency job.

Chantal actually lost a lot of weight while taking Ozempic. However, she was also taking cocaine and she lost too much for ozempic, so we're pretty sure it was the cocaine. It all came back and more after she ran out of money for her nose candy.

Actually, Chantal didn't like the feeling of not having an appetite and started gaining it all back when she started on the edibles. She stopped the Ozempic when she announced that she "cured" her diabetes. Pretty sure she was still taking the nose candy long after she claimed she stopped.

I wonder what it's like to be Chantal and to be so dedicating to not realizing that she's filling her blood with pickling brine

Like Anna knows it on some level because it's generally known that alcohol directly effects the stream

But Chantal isn't an alcoholic, she's just an extreme fork porker. And for her, out of sight is out of mind. Once the food passes under her nose it's almost as if it never existed. Is it like being a toddler and thinking food falls down into your legs?

Lurked in this thread a bit, I'm surprised there's no mention of Chantal's edema and eye problems. She's become so puffy her eyes are swollen shut, and wearing sunglasses for a scant few minutes left deep indentations on her face. Her right eye has been really watery too, both of those symptoms together can be signs of acute renal failure, heart failure, or DKA. Gunt has had an enlarged heart and damaged kidneys for years, and she's been eating more than ever the last few weeks, in spite of her diabetic retinopathy and sugarfoot.

She's since cranked up all of her filters to 11 to try and hide how terrible she looks. As @grimacefetishist succinctly put it, "out of sight, out of mind". No matter how bad her health is getting, as long as she can avoid confronting reality, thinks everything is fine.

I believe Amberlynn Reid went on Ozempic, lost weight, and then discontinued her first course of the drug because it was worsening her gallbladder stones. Either that, or she got got by the contemporaneous shortage on Ozempic.

Chantal had a stream today where she said her A1C was 10. That represents a 3 month average, 24/7, and is catastrophically high.
Per Google: An A1C level of 10% corresponds to an average blood sugar level of 240 mg/dL (13.4 mmol) according to the Mayo Clinic.

She is so fucked.

10 is pretty high but still not considered to be a critical medical emergency. With the way she is shoving "sponsored" sweets down her gullet, I'm sure she will reach 15 in no time!

I'm more curious to know about her cholesterol and triglyceride levels as well as her blood pressure. I would not be surprised if she had some sort of fatty liver disease. I don't recall if it's her that had mentioned she had gallbladder issues but if that's the case, she is definitely well on her way to having her liver become foie gras.

Last time she said anything about her liver after a CT Scan (back in the luxury villa days before her Dr dumped her) it measured 29cm or 12”. Super duper fatty liver disease.
I don't recall if it's her that had mentioned she had gallbladder issues but if that's the case, she is definitely well on her way to having her liver become foie gras.
She has said her gall bladder was removed when she was 17-18. So she’s lived over half of her life without one.

The previous two posters already covered most of this, but:
  • She does have high cholesterol. Back in the villa days, she found a random pill bottle in a kitchen drawer, wondered aloud what it was for, and sounded out the name of a cholesterol medicine. She'd been prescribed a medication but wasn't taking it. She did mention fairly recently that she's currently prescribed a cholesterol medication, but it's critical to remember that Chantal never, ever takes prescribed medications regularly or correctly.
  • The blood pressure is a confusing subject. She's had high readings before, including one at her last ER beeze in Canada. She claims that her BP readings in Kuwait are normal, but knowledgable posters in her thread have posited that the readings may be unreliable due to the difficulty of getting any cuff around her upper arm (which is truly massive these days; there are some photos from the cat bite ER beeze that demonstrate this really well). She's been told to cut the sodium, and we can all see how that's going.
  • As Shenanigans said, she had a liver scan in the good old days, and her liver is a foot long.
  • As Shenanigans also said, Chantal had her gallbladder removed when she was a teenager. She's claimed that she was the youngest patient the doctor had ever had to lose a gallbladder, but Chantal is not trustworthy.
If you've been away from her thread for awhile, here are some other things we know about her health (or lack thereof):
  • She had a hysterectomy due to fat. In one of her recent videos/streams, she claims that she did not eat herself out of a uterus. That directly contradicts what she said (repeatedly) at the time, that she was told that her uterus might be spared if she lost weight. She did a lot of crazy diets, gained weight, and lost her uterus (and ovaries).
  • She has a history of pulmonary emboli. The doctors apparently never identified a cause or, if they did, she never shared it. Being fat and sedentary can cause PEs. Her Grams had pulmonary hypertension, and that was what lead to her final hospitalization and death.
    • Also, Chantal smokes shisha like a fiend these days and occasionally admits to vaping or smoking cigarettes. This obviously stupid, with her own medical history and that of her family.
  • She did take Ozempic in the villa days but quit. She claimed that she "cured her diabetes." As all her recent health encounters demonstrate, she did not cure diddly squat, and her blood is now so sweet that it attracts hummingbirds.
  • As for the diabetes:
    • She was on Janumet while in Kuwait but had to switch back to Metformin when Kuwait made Janumet unavailable to non-Kuwaitis. Kuwait tightly controls the supply of drugs, and only certain ones are available to non-Kuwaitis. Ozempic is not available to her in Kuwait because of this.
    • She's on nighttime insulin now. The specific brand she uses is Lantus.
  • Her kidneys emerged as a contender for "what will take Chantal out?" during the Kuwait arc. She had some bad kidney-related labs and protein in her urine. She was told to lose weight and to eat less protein.
    • Notably, she now claims that she was told to eat less protein to aid her diabetes, which is not true. She uses this as evidence that doctors can't agree on a diabetic diet, but it's actually a cause of Chantal either misremembering what she was told or deliberately distorting it.
  • lol bald
  • We haven't seen her bare legs in recent history, but, when we last did, she had weird blotches all over them. Medics in the main thread have said it's likely diabetes-related.
  • She's worn glasses for a long time, but her vision has been failing. Recently, during a livestream, she directed the cat to look at a stray cat. Problem is, the stray cat was actually two cups on the ground. She later said the stray cat had run away, but the "cat" (the cups) were still there.
  • She's got a history of drug use in the form of whatever stimulants she was taking in the villa days (I'm of the mindset that she didn't even know what she was taking half the time) and copious THC usage in any form she could get her paws on.
  • She freely admits to shitting 10-12 times a day and seemingly does not realize this is rather unusual.
  • In the past year or so, she often seems to be dragging one leg when she tries to walk. How much of that is an act (to get out of walking) versus a genuine gait problem is up for debate (there's been plenty of that in the main thread).
  • She never got her adult teeth and only has baby teeth-- which are now decaying. She does not brush her teeth and hasn't seen a dentist in years.
  • She's been having repeated UTIs and has had a kidney infection while in Kuwait. She recently said she thought she was getting another UTI and was seen squeezing lemons into a soda: lemons are her internet/TikTok cure of choice for the UTIs.
  • She's had a history of wounds that heal badly, including the splitting hysterectomy scar and a boil I prefer not to think about.
That's all I can think of right now, but I'm probably forgetting things. Words cannot express how much I'd love to see her medical records.
