The two parties are afraid of getting usurped, not that they have to work with their slightly different brethren. Building a consensus with minor parties as a major party is simple; they get paid lip service. You still have two major parties competing with each other.

I thought it was funny that the people who insist that it's "Dr." Jill were the same who said trumps doc isn't licensed anymore and is thus not a doctor. Brilliant.

Paying lip-service to a minor party while still dominating the conversation is still an improvement over outright suppression and creating legal roadblocks to maintain power.

The closest I'm aware of that does seem to be helpful and doesn't get any press is a ketogenic diet tooled specifically for cancer, in combination with drugs that inhibit some energy source for the cancer iirc. It's been looked at for cancers that are non responsive to other treatments like some cases of breast cancer and brain cancer. There was also a dog sanctuary that used it in dogs with cancer with very good success rates.
One problem with it is that for some reason they use a calorie restricted form of the diet, and there's old reports of its use where a woman successfully went into remission but once she came off the diet the cancer came back and she died. So it seems like it would have to be a lifelong intervention if used.
I actually have some friends of family who utilized a ketogenic diet as part of their cancer treatment, which apparently helped them with side effects of chemo, and they've stayed on it to this day to help keep it from recurring. They don't calorie restrict though, so maybe that part isn't even necessary. They mentioned the book Tripping Over the Truth to me when I asked why they were doing it, which I found pretty interesting.
But it's a dietary intervention (except for the medication I mentioned), so I don't see it getting any huge funding grants, especially since fatty diets are controversial due to concerns over heart disease. Not to mention, a lifestyle change isn't going to be as flashy or desirable as a pill. Who wants to change their life to save it? That's hard. Not to mention the potential consequences if you fall off and go back to eating nuggies and chocolate milkshakes.
But hey, if I had to choose between a long drawn out painful death from cancer, and a quick death from a heart attack I'll take the latter if that were really the trade off.
As far as I can tell though the medical and nutritional research field is an utter clusterfuck and rife with corruption, false data being published, doctored images, etc though so it would really take something huge to change it.
Hell, Taxpayer funded studies aren't even always open access to the people whose money pays for it, and if people can't scrutinize your data you can get away with a lot.

So Trump's been preparing for this for about a month.

She's the dumbest justice on the court (though Jackson may eventually surpass her) so either party replacing her during the next four years would be a boon.

The way it works. Is that if winner party does not have majority alone. They have to agree to something with minor parties to achieve majority on some other thing they want.

That is not a two party system, because they work together. That is a multi party system, because they work together.
