Strokes especially in elderly patients almost always come in clusters of two or three in fairly quick succession.

This one didn't get him but the coming ones almost certainly will.

The only issues the public cares about are the Economy, the Border Crisis, and the Wars.

Trump wins on all of those and Kamala is every bit as weak on them as Biden. Probably weaker on the Border, since she was border czar.

Best way to counter the propaganda is to just keep doing what he did in the debate: always shift the topic right back to the Border crisis and the economy/inflation, and don’t waste energy on her desperate attempts to frame everything around abortion and racism/sexism.

True, if Thomas stepped down following a Trump victory that would leave an absolutely massive hole in SCOTUS. Trump's actual picks have mostly been a disappointment from my observations. ACB just boot licks government precedent, Gorsuch nods his head, and Kavanaugh curls up in the fetal position any time a leftist issue is brought before the court. If it wasn't for Thomas and Alito herding them like cats, we'd still have trash like Roe and Chevron on the books.

I can’t comment on if he has any particular person he would like to be replaced with, but there are a number of other judges who are as strong ideologically as he is.
The biggest problem is that there’s an unofficial official route to get there, so you’re really limited to appellate judges. Of those, I’m personally partial to Jim Ho and Don Willet on the Fifth Circuit to replace Thomas.
