Paris 2024 Olympics shenanigans - The most multicultural Olympics ever.

Good God. So like, it's woke, its bad and its offensively so.

But what the fuck is with it looking so goddamn cheap/plastic/bare for the absurd dionysus rep and last supper stupidity? Or the dance costumes?

I don't have the answer, but if I was to guess. I assume when drag and shit was underground before people started pretending it was mainstream. It was probably just dude's learning to sew making their costumes. Probably making lots of different and new ones quickly and cheaply. Where maybe that cheap plastic shitty style just became the style of drag culture.

True, but this is like Marilyn Manson doing a Super Bowl halftime show. It's a huge signal that incredibly powerful decision-makers have decided that this is what the culture will be henceforth.
I don't disagree. This was made with the specific purpose of offend Christianity and break with the idea that Christianity is something to be respected, which is something you just can't do for the Olympic Games. Athens acknowledged their past without showing us a Zeus punching Jesus in the face.

My point is, the segment of the horse and the amazon couldn't have been made in any other way. Either you have a real horse running all that distance and ending exhausted or you make it walk and add 1h more to the ceremony. It was a silver horse running and nothing else. There is no some callback to one of the Horsemen of Apocalypse.

See, there are people claiming that London 2012 had the Death holding a needle with sick kids around him during the Opening Ceremony... that this is a signal to demons and yadayada. It's Voldemort with his wand threatening the sick kids of the NHS. It's not some dark prediction of Covid and the vaccines.

Just saw this
Look at the man on the left side of the picture
Don't like Muslims, but eurocucks deserve what is coming to them in the next few decades

I know its late but that looks super Hindu. He just needs a few more arms.

Jean-Luc Melenchon, the head of France's biggest left party has criticised the depiction of the Last Supper:
>I didn't like the mockery on the Christian Supper, last meal of Christ and his disciples, founder of Sunday worship. I don't enter, of course, in the critique of « blasphemy ». This does not concern everyone. But I ask: what good is it to risk hurting believers ? Even when you are anticlerical ! We were talking to the world that night. In the billion Christians of the world, how many brave and honest people to whom faith gives help to live and to know how to participate in the life of all, without disturbing anyone ?

From my basic bitch understanding, France is in the process of forming government after the leftist parties only won a majority by forming an extremely tenuous coalition. The olympics may just prove fruitful for poking the leftist infighting tendencies even further.

At this point if a good Christian police officer were to turn the other cheek so he doesn't notice Abdul and Muhammad sneaking in with a bomb, there is a compelling theological argument for the moral justification of doing so. This display legitimately made me MATI.
France is a laic country and not a Christian one no matter how you or the "billions of butthurt Christians" want to cry about it your madness is misguided and dumb. Turn off the tv if you don't like it the way we tell people to get off twitter if you don't like the mean words stop being a fucking drama queen wishing for the death of innocent people over some men in dresses like are you for real

Just remember, the very same organization that will install cardboard bed frames to stop adult athletes from consensually boinking each other during off-hours also believes this is perfectly fine to show to your children.

Honk honk.
That quote would be worth for a meme featuring the Third World Skeptical kid: "They put cardboard bed frames because they don't want adult athletes consensually boinking each other during off-hours but they're okay to show queer shows to the kids?"

Btw, the guys of American Thinker posted this good rant.

France celebrates wokery instead of athletes at its Olympics opener

By Monica Showalter

Are Le French bored with the Olympics already?

You know, like the little disgruntled Frenchman at the cafe in the 1994 DHL ad, complaining about le bourgeois businessmen waiting for their packages and saying they can wait?
You'd almost think so given the strange ennui and decadence seen in the opening ceremony.

Their opener was loaded with offensive and irrelevant distractions at the expense of its athletic purpose, making one wonder if they were interested in the Olympics at all.
There was of course the blasphemous woke section featuring drag queens led by a morbidly obese person with the stage name 'Barbara Butch' playing the Virgin Mary in a Bahomet getup and halo reenacting the Last Supper, with a blue Pan-like nearly naked man being presented on the serving platter, eating food himself. It as all about some kind of "inclusion," they later claimed. Actually, it was a mockery of Catholicism, an odd thing to mock in a country where cathedrals are being set on fire and priests are being stabbed by Muslim fanatics.

A tech company has since pulled its ads, and the higher quality of Catholic bishops in the U.S., such as Robert Barron of Minnesota and Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco, have condemned the mockery of Christians from what is supposedly a Christian country, some asking if they'd like to try that on Muslims. Since then, even French bishops have spoken up. The Olympics themselves are reportedly pulling the video, based on viewers tuning out.

The full 4 hour opening was saved by some russiafag here. I found it on Yandex by accident, I didn't think it'd be on a Russian social site.
Drag queen segment starts at 2:27:02 (link)
It likely won't be taken down, but just in case I initiate you to save it fully before it's BTFO (sorry, I'm not downloading 7GB of HD video onto my hard drive)
On the one-hand, good work in making sure people can see this stuff despite officials purging it from the Internet all over the place. On the other hand thanks to you, I have now seen the "library threesome" segment of the opening games right before I was about to have lunch.

That was nauseating. Had no part in opening ceremonies for the olympics.

I'm starting to fnord have an issue with the Hysterical-Americans. I agree that it was in bad taste and with intention of mocking Christianity (or rather, not thinking it's worthy of respect), but fnord not everything is some hidden illuminati fnord message. Sometimes a horse is just a horse designed by an edgy faggot and reason why it looks how it looks. Did they expect a horse to run all that during the ceremony? That had been cruel for the animal or extremely slow for the rest of us. fnord
I get where you're coming from - I don't see the horse and immediately jump to "Four Horsemen of the Apocalyse". But I do see the table tableau and think "The Last Supper". These people swim in this symbolism - Pan like figures, an obese sexualised person in the position of Jesus at the supper, beheaded women... The horse may or may not just be a horse but when dealing with people like this it's not wholly inappropriate to be suspicious about what looks like covert symbolism.

Except when it's thots at the gym. Gymbros tend to ignore those, for some reason.
Because a good gym in a location convenient for you and for your schedule, is hard to find. Often there's only one. And a woman can get you banned at the drop of a hat if you smile at her.

Who is this lovable rascal?

And if the short guy behind him doesn't want "politics" then maybe don't intrude on his interview and start sticking a Star of David up to the the camera. Is the little guy Portuguese? Sounds like he's swearing at the footballer in Portuguese at the end.

It’s not a surprise that someone like Lebron would stay at his own thing. The village has always been for the amateur kids.
But... the Olympics is a game for amateur athletes, no? That's what I was told as a kid.

Things don't seem to be picking up ...

Paris Olympic chiefs have issued a grovelling apology to South Sudan's men's basketball team after playing the wrong national anthem ahead of their clash with Puerto Rico.
The anthem for South Sudan was cut off 20 seconds into the recorded track, with suggestions that the anthem for Sudan had actually been played. Those two countries fought a fierce civil war, which led to South Sudan becoming independent in 2011.

The South Sundanese players at first appeared confused, before supporters inside the stadium began to boo. Fans then started clapping as both the South Sudan and Puerto Rican players stood in unison with their hands over their hearts.

It took three minutes for the issue to be resolved, with supporters meeting that with an ovation. South Sudan's players then embraced, with Olympic chiefs quickly issuing an apology.

“Paris 2024 presents its most sincere apologies to the team from South Sudan and their supporters for the human error during the playing of their national anthem, prior to today’s men’s basketball match. We fully understand the gravity of the mistake,” organisers said in a statement.

The swimming section of one of the Games’ most physically demanding events had been scheduled to take place in the River Seine, but has been pushed back due to concerns of the quality of the water.

‘The analysis carried out yesterday in the Seine showed water quality levels that do not present sufficient guarantees to allow the event to take place.’

A £350 million security operation is underway in Paris ahead of the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games amid threats from terrorist groups like Al-Qaeda and ISIS. The opening day of the Olympics had been hit by adverse weather conditions which had led to the postponement of the skateboarding.

Tennis, too, which is being staged at Roland Garros, the home of the French Open, was also hit by delays.

Organisers are confident, however, that conditions will improve over the course of the next few hours to allow those participating in the triathlon some much needed time to get used to swimming in the river that played such a prominent role in a controversial opening ceremony.

Turn off the tv if you don't like it
The same motherfuckers telling you "it's no big deal, just turn off the TV" now would've told you you're an insane conspiracy theorist for suggesting the Olympics opening ceremony will someday be a televised celebration of bondage-gear faggots and trannies dancing with children apropos of absolutely nothing.

"That's not happening and it's good that it is" is their modus operandi. Today's insane, unhinged sLiPpErY sLoPe is what you'll be expected to celebrate tomorrow, bigot.

I'm not convinced that's the case at all. The public just seems to gripe and grumble quietly and the window for the tolerance of public celebration of degeneracy shifts just a little more.
That's true but once the threshold is pushed beyond tolerance, there is only intolerance. We have reached that point with open degeneracy. This is how you get Hitler. The gross mismanagement of public moral leads to gross overreaction.

And banning anti-degeneracy publications pushes the extremism underground and slowly fester into open and violent revolt. Instead of stemming the tide of degeneracy, public officials and globhomo have embraced moral degeneracy as its axiom.
