Technically he's right. In Japan, for instance, this is true. There have been instances where a convenience store was open and unmanned because some random thing happened, and people went in, took what they needed, and left the money for that on the counter, and when the next person came in they didn't take the money on the table. It's also well known that in most places you can leave a wallet on the ground and it will be there when you return - and if it isn't, it's at the nearby police station.

The main issue is that most places are not Japan and do not have that extreme shame culture. Japan only has it because post-WW2 one of our generals - MacArthur I think? - wanted to ensure Japan could never again do the thing they did in the past, and so he put in dedicated effort to manipulate Japanese people using their existing culture of Bushido and other similar codes into the shamed sheep culture that exists now. In reality, for most of the world, socialism and communism will only and can only exist in a post-scarcity world where jobs are completely optional because we have somehow automated all labor or removed it entirely (see Star Trek's version, where they just created machines that make infinite stuff for free so nothing has value).

And even then, someone or another will still try to be king somehow.
Japan doesn't have browns lol

Your over thinking things. Plenty of Asian countries are like that. In Taiwan I have left stuff unattended in public for hours because I forgot them and when I come back they are either in the same spot or someone gave them to a nearby store clerk for safe keeping. America can be like that too if we can better control a certain demographic. If you see videos of people snatching unattended laptops in cafes it is the always the usual suspects.

the rural areas of America that are free of invasive species are like that too. granted some of the native species are a pain to deal with too.

Hello fellow Redditors, I am a well adjusted, married adult white male with 1.7 children who loves to participate in traditionally masculine activities (Any of you guys want to grill? Ha Ha). In light of current events I thought I'd stop by to tell everyone how much I love Kamala Harris and how we all need to take the coconut brat pill.

Yours Truly,
Not from Langley.

It's good but needs 10% more kvetching. I've alerted the Sanhedrin to your slapdashery. Enjoy circumcision, child.

"I own a gun and I enjoy hunting and shooting and I am voting for the candidate who wholeheartedly supports mandatory buyback programs."

Sure you do, buddy.

That's one of many reasons Kamala will struggle to gain traction: gun loving is not even a right wing thing. When Trump got elected gun and bullet sales surged. When Obama got elected gun and bullet sales surged. Gun ownership is one of the biggest single issue things in America. Left, right, and center, you can't win on an anti-gun position.
It is something that works in high trust societies like Scandinavia (before it got flooded with the trash of the third world), and tight knit, homogenous communities. It can never work in the anonymous, lumpenprole urban hellscapes that become the breeding ground for communism. Communists viscerally hate the kind of societies that produce this behavior, and destroy them where they can.
Actually, I left this out because it wasn't relevant, but Japan has been changing over the past 2-3 decades. Violent crime is on the rise, as well as property theft. While some of it is the youth or elderly due to really weird quirks about Japanese law, the majority of it comes from their immigrants. If you ever have a Japanese friend they will tell you that the Chinese and Koreans in their country cause huge amounts of crime and violence, including a rash of murders and rapes that the news won't report on. (not because they're protecting the foreigners but because they want to project the image of peace and safety)

Now this is obviously racism, but you can decide for yourself whether it's also true.
Astroturfing support for Kamala gives me hope. It's the most boring thing they could possibly do, and is also the least likely to work, because she's possibly a more detestable candidate than Hillary....

The conspiracy nut part of me was concerned that in the face of the popularity and energy bump of a failed assassination attempt, they'd try to fight fire with fire, only keeping Joe alive so that they could ACTUALLY take him out just to point and say "See? SEE?? Our guy is also under attack and it even worked on him!! Checkmate Drumpf!!".
I don't agree that Kamala is more detestable than Hillary. More annoying? Yes. More out of touch? Possibly. But you have to remember that with Hillary she has been very visibly in politics since the 90s, and before that she was a lawyer with some high profile cases, and at one point she went to China to protest the US. While her husband was in office she was involved in multiple VERY high profile scandals and only avoided the consequences because key witnesses mysteriously died. Her husband also got involved with that and also famously was rescued by the key witness cop being shot in a random traffic stop by a criminal who was never caught. When she was Secretary of State she advocated for the attack on Libya which ruined that country, and she was SO bad at her job even Obama had to fire her.

Hillary had 30-40 years in politics and her entire history was one long disgusting disgrace. EVERYONE knew her and everyone had a reason to hate her. And then the cherry on top was how extremely unlikeable she was in 2015 and how she stole the nomination from Bernie and how entitled she acted to the position.

Kamala has the benefit of people saying "Who?" if people said "Who?" about Hillary, she'd be massively more popular than she is now.

Heard one person quip that it takes 7 Indians to do the job of one good American programmer.
They consider this a good thing. It seems to be cultural. During the British Raj, one of the complaints from Indians was that one Briton would do the work of five or six Indian clerks, which meant that those six would be out of work. The idea that they should work harder was never considered; their real grievance was the fact that the British didn't continue to employ the useless clerks, even though they were doing nothing of value.

From an Honest and True woman, this is what real masculinity is. Thank you for saving me, my daughters, and my granddaughters from the tangerine tyrant.

Technically he's right.

Trotsky was a conniving, psychopathic Jew who knew firsthand that the communist platform of perpetual terror, plunder, and moral turpitude was not conducive to social cohesion or prosperity because he was one its major architects in Russia.

He had no actual illusions that communism was ushering in an idyllic world characterized by brethren dwelling in love and unity. He thought he could consolidate power to the Soviet Republic under his truly and fantasized about infected the rest of the world with Russia's misery and putting all mankind under his heel.

I say this not just to be autistic but to contextualize his romantic-sounding fantasy. Everyone, even peasant Slavs, understood what a society characterized by trust and brotherly love is, that it was (imperfectly) attainable where there was an unfeigned love of the One Who is Love, and that honesty boxes work in white countries if the people aren't immiserated by want or social evils.

He and his fellow communists preached these lovely sentiments to cajole useful idiots to think that the terror had a grander purpose than fulfilling the lusts of their blackened hearts. He wasn't nearly that stupid.
