To be fair, they both ripped off the Bible and other works. And Dune is pretty much overrated as well. At the very least Star Wars' makers were humble enough to point out that they ripped off Kurosawa, ancient mythology, the Hero's Journey, cowboy films, and the like.

You should also throw in that Daredevil ripped off Batman and that western comics in general ripped off mythology and other works.

It actually is a serious topic, since Razor loves to use the insinuation that something is derivative as it being bad, but he loves a lot of derivative stuff like western comics.

I don't mind something that's called a ripoff so long as it's enjoyable on its own. There were lots of cartoons and games that were inspired by other things that were out at the time. Some might call Virtual-On: Oratorio Tangram a ripoff of Gundam, especially since the mechs do look Gundam-esque, but it was a fun game with great mecha battles. In the same vein, some people call Starcraft a ripoff of Warhammer 40K, but it's got fun gameplay, so I didn't care.

Razorfist, on the other hand, equates ''ripoff'' with ''bad'', and if that's the case, then he should hate western superhero comics as a genre because it's one big fat game of who ripped off who. Even the original heroes like Superman and Batman were inspired by folklore heroes such as Hercules and Zorro. Then you got characters like Thanos and Daredevil which rip off other superheroes/villains like Darkseid and Batman. Danny-boy is a Daredevil fan. So he, by default, likes a character who is a ripoff. Basically, a blind Batman who can still do the same things. This makes Danny-boy's outrage towards Jedi Outcast's gameplay and the Witcher series look like a joke, because he hates them both for being ripoffs, yet he loves a character who is a ripoff.

Danny's diction is purposeful. Most people equate "ripoff" or "knockoff" with lower quality. See phrases like "Chinese Knockoff" or "overpriced ripoff". Both are negative stigmatic so Razor being just smart enough uses it in his videos. Inspire or Omiyage is positive stigmatic, so he only applies them the things he likes. Ignoring the fact that nothing is truly original, Danny boy tries to be both an edgy comedian and right wing intellectual. Hard to be intelligent and consistent when you have to take your subjective opinion and try to make them objective fact by coating it in shitty punchlines.

If you think about it, she only fights three times in the movie. One was against a face-hugger, and she had to be saved from it. The second was when she burnt a bunch of stationary eggs and saved Newt. The third was when she threw the alien out of an airlock using a power loader.

In the movie, she plays support and lets the Marines fight as she is a smart survivor.

It is not until the 3rd movie that things get dumb.
