I have to apologize in advance if this was said already. It’s hard to keep up with this thread.

The path of the two bullets meant for Trump two weeks ago, the kid Crook was a very good shot. The coupling showed precision and marksmanship.

He could have gone for a center-mass shot, and may have succeeded. But he chose the riskier option. Why?

I think for optics.

This is where it sounds crazy, but all of those cameras trained on Trump? Zoomed in, high quality? A headshot would have been absolutely repulsive, disgusting, impossible to erase from memory.

And I believe that may have been the point, if Crook was trained and groomed to do this. A headshot of a popular figure on livestream, and all the LITERAL gory details. it would be enough of a flex by the intelligence/deepstate/whatever you want to call them, onto the populace. It would ensure compliance from us uppity peasants.

It was probably more a matter of how he was shooting over the peak of the roof he was on, and he was trying to keep a low profile, so his site picture was Tump's head while the rest of his target's "center mass" was obscured by the roof peak.
