Culture The Bull Pit - Pitbull News Megathread - aka sperginity speds out agendaposting

Two 8-month-old pit bulls that were loose in Nanaimo attacked several children, severely injuring at least one. Other people that came to aid the children were also injured.

The children were playing in a yard at the house of one of their friends. The dogs were from somewhere else in the neighborhood and had been cited for being at large previously.

One of the owners of the dogs came and got the dogs but did not stick around. The news interviewed the other owner, a Dangerhair that looked to be in her late 40s or early 50s. While she was devastated at what her dogs had done, she said to the reporter, "People are saying, look at this from the prospective of a parent, well, these dogs are my kids, too," and then she broke down crying.

It was later reported both dogs were euthanized, as there have been other incidents prior to this one, and due to the severity of the injuries the one particular child sustained.

To the dangerhair dog owner I would have to say, "If these dogs were your KIDS, you did a lousy job of raising them. Thank heavens you didn't spawn any of your own."

Good on the owner for having that dog in a muzzle. That's more than 99% of pit owners do.

How fuckin big them lashes lmao ghetto

Why the fuck would you put a pulling harness on dogs known for pulling? A prong collar or a choker would be better for correcting this behavior.
It's safer than a prong/choker collar, because they wouldn't know how to use it (guessing their IQ is low because they own a pitbull in the first place). If used incorrectly, the prong/choker collar just hurts the dog instead of correcting it. The dog learns to ignore it over time. Also, it's not going to help a pit because pits are retarded.

At least they have the thing muzzled, instead of the retards who are like, "Cupcake doesn't need a muzzle, he's just being friendly!" as their pittie/bully attempts to maul the nearest human or animal to death.

Dogs are in a way a reflection of their owner. Nice white suburban family's get golden retrievers, gross unlovable people get rat dogs and well you know

That one that's on the left at the start of the video looks like she's been suckling pups. Dude is probably a backyard breeder making Americuh's shibble overpopulation woes worse :heart-empty:

Animal shelters don't have a "dog overpopulation problem..." they have a pitbull overpopulation problem.

Case and point: choose any local animal shelter or rescue group (aside from breed-specific ones) and it will be majority pit and pit mix. Quite often they are about 80% pit and it is rare that you find a shelter with even like a 60%/40% ratio of pits to non-pits. Consider also that pits are still the most euthanized breed in North America. If generalized "dog overpopulation" was true you would see a wider variety of breeds and mixes in shelters and roaming the streets as strays. Shelters regularly turn away dogs (including pits of course) for being packed to the brim, but where do those dogs end up?

Social media makes it easier to rehome pets if need be, and it goes without saying that it is easier to rehome a golden or toy mix than it is to rehome a pit. Hell it's probably easier to rehome a tarantula than a pit at this point even if suckers are born every day. So anyone finding themselves in need of a new home for their poodle will probably go that route instead of a shelter anyway. Social media also makes it easier for BYBs to sell their SLAMMED and SMASHED "wares" and dog fighters to connect but I digress.

The adopt don't shop movement successfully stigmatized dog breeding. Then the general public wonders where all the good dogs went and and the majority of dogs are now either pitbulls and poorly bred dogs from Amish puppy mills. Society since the 00's says breeding dogs is now only for evil dirt bags, then is surprised that only dirt bags breed dogs.

We are now 20+ years into this social experiment. We didn't get better Labrador Retrievers for all, we've got pitbull DNA running rampant and pit mixes being the only thing available for many people.

This is mostly an online thing. Few people offline care if you adopted or shopped. They care if the dog isn't a borderline feral shithead.

Oh man but it is totally infecting the suburbs. White karens feel like they need to 'save' these fuckers.
I live in a very white neighborhood and like one in four houses has a fucking pit now.
