It's the usual water muddying that happens when serious allegations come out.
Anyway, I'm not entirely unconvinced that all the people trying to go after Mr. Beast's YouTube videos (them being fake, fake signed merch, etc) aren't part of his plan to sweep this all under the rug.
Not necessarily him paying them, or anything, but the more he lets people run rampant with the accusations that his videos are fake the more he can choose to only address that, when things cool down, and then his remaining fans (a lot of them, mind you) will shout down anyone bringing the chomo stuff up.
This will all be coupled with that, "third party investigation," (READ: they, "won't find anything," and will be paid not to release anything they do) and will ultimately lead to zero consequences for YouTube's biggest ad revenue generator.
