So you'd have the liberals on the court and Roberts voting party line. Think any of the conservatives on the court would cuck to give Roberts the 5-4 he needs to do the ultimate "lose with dignity" in history?
Robert's would balk -hard- at this. The one major thing that does piss him off is people fucking with the court. Notice the near total lack of leaks after the Roe leak? Robert's cleaned house after that.

All the conservatives would be no votes meaning they would need three of them to recuse just to get an even split, four to actually succeed. This is just a hail mary.

The Roe leak was unprecedented, there weren't any like it ever before. Roberts hasn't cleaned out shit. We still don't know who did it even though he clearly does.

The couch thing tells me that they tried very very hard to find any woman in Vance's life/past who they could pay to make a false rape claim but they couldn't and this is their not very good backup plan.
One of the silver linings about millennials having fewer sex partners than past generations is that there are fewer women available to make up false rape stories. There will still be plenty of women who will lie or decide to withdraw consent years after the sex happened but the pool will shrink. “This guy looked at me while I was in the elevator” I’m sure will take its place but that’s going to be quite a bit different than having actual sexual intercourse with a woman.

Biden doesn't realize how imposing term limits on Supreme Court Justices would make them perhaps the most corrupt institution that ever existed and destroy any possibility of a fair trial. Ol' Scranton Joe thinks a revolving door will make a fine addition to an institution tasked with reviewing laws impartially.

The Supreme Court thing is pure election season pandering. There is no chance of it happening. Without a Constitutional Amendment anything they try to do would eventually make its way to the Supreme Court where it will be unanimously dead on arrival since no SC Justice will voluntarily dilute their own power. That's what FDR realized when he tried.

Even if printing ballots like it's a third world country doesn't cause a civil war it can demolish trust in the federal government and therefore it's inherent power.

They don't care whether anybody trusts them. They only care about being as close to the federal money spigot as possible. That's the scary thing about the current political climate. They, along with their compatriots in the French, German, and British governments, do not care about legitimacy. They don't care if they burn it all down. They don't care if they make an absolute wreck of their country's people, economy, military, or culture. They care about one thing, and only one thing, grabbing the bag.

"White dudes for..."

Oh no, no no no, ima nope out y'all of this kkk scene

"Kamala"

Oh snap you had me there for a second.

Everything has to always be subversive or ironic or unserious. This is why this phrase is ok. You see the word white and you're supposed to have a panic reaction and lock the doors literally and whatever but oh wait these whites support %dnc_cause% (or candidate)!! They're some of the good ones and their opinion is worth a lot as such, hold them up and let their brethren know how to be good " white dudes".

I really hate the way people have been taught to think like this, language tricks always guaranteed to work on them.

I still can't wrap my head around the fact that she's appealing to a demographic that makes up less than 2% of the population. She already had their vote to begin with because vote blue no matter who. What she's doing is turning off democrats who hate the LGBT, that being the minority community.
There are no Democrats on TikTok who are anti-lgbt. There are however a lot of progressives on there who support Palistine and she needs to win over because they will boycott her if they think she isn't on their side. Gay shit and dancing cam make them forget about Palestine for long enough to vote for her though.

His uniparty masters realize this would allow for Obama to be prosecuted for killing Americans without a trial, yes?

Regardless, his "fix" for the SCOTUS is to demand they... blatantly undo a constitutional ruling they made? And then impose the same kind of wokeshit "Code of Conduct" things the wokies have used to infiltrate and destroy every open source project they wanted to have control over?

Also it's rich that the dementia patient wants term limits. But not for congress, oh no.
It will never go anywhere. The Republicans can unite on one thing and it's controlling the SCOTUS. Don't forget before Mitch sank the knife in Trump's back he was a stout ally of Trump despite vocally being against him before because they were trying to get Coney Barrett in. Completely independent of whether the SCOTUS would play ball, Congress will never allow it.
I'd swear her campaign strategy is to appeal solely to people who actually liked the Saints Row reboot.

Whoever said she's basically Disney Star Wars, was right. She's getting the exact same sort of astroturfed media hype: critic scores are 98%, while the audience score is well below 30%.
If you tell a lie enough times people will start believing it. It's only absurd until the people start to agree. They did it with gays and trans (and then undid it because the trans are actually unhinged), they did it with abortion and anti-white racism, and they're trying to do it with things like Star Wars and whatever else. In Kamala's case specifically it's a smokescreen. If they lie about the hype it distracts from the lie about the fix.
They are going to run this exact same play again, and Republicans have no strategy for stopping it, because courts have already decreed that nothing can be done to stop it.
Oh but don't you know?? Trump's lawyers have pre-drafted their appeals!

If you want to give any of our leadership the benefit of the doubt (which you absolutely shouldn't because fuck those cockroaches) there is a philosophical angle to it I find somewhat interesting.

The entire US system is largely built on Scout's Honor. The understanding that a state will act honorably along with the other states is a foundational element of how it is supposed to work. When states begin acting subversive towards each other and ignoring things for their own gains they break down the idea of a United government of any kind. Such behavior directly led to the Civil War the first time. As Northern States began to ignore legislation they already agreed upon through our legislative body when supporting them became less tenable in their respective domains. This of course prevents other states from using the very bodies designed to mediate these exact disputes from working properly.

Similarly, when some states subvert voting for their own gains they are also breaking down how the system is supposed to work. As doing so prevents the other states who do actually act in accordance with the spirit of the system from having their say. Due to the other states that merely pretend to. Knowing this, you can kind of think that the old ass boomers of yesteryear that lead us may have wanted to keep the illusion going just a little longer as most of that generation truly believes that anything is better than war. Even completely lopsided dominion of one group over another. At least there wasn't a shot fired!

In any system, in any society, anywhere in the world this will play out the same. When two actors agree to participate in a mutually beneficial arrangement and one actor subverts this for his own gain conflict is inevitable.

This is where we are now.

I mean, false rape allegations never let something like truth get in the way, I am not sure this is the white pill you think it is.

So this is either a case of massive "I just assumed it was" or one of the best buried political secrets ever. Both seem... unlikely?> Kinda fascinating!
May have figured it out.

>No official documentation supports this

So it must be a verbal demand

>Consistent amount of reliable people insist this happens

So it's not made up

It's Israeli business negotiation tactics as applied to American arms sales is my guess

Israeli businesspeople are often shrewd negotiators who should not be underestimated. They are used to, and may even enjoy, hard bargaining but usually haggle less than their Arab neighbors may. The bargaining stage of a negotiation can be extensive. Prices may move by 40 percent or more between initial offers and final agreement. Leave yourself a lot of room for concessions at different stages. However, since overly compromising is viewed as a sign of weakness, concessions never come easily. It is not advisable to make significant early concessions, since your counterparts expect further compromises as the bargaining continues.
Emotional negotiation techniques, such as attitudinal bargaining, sending dual messages, attempting to make you feel guilty, grimacing, or appealing to personal relationships, are frequent and can be effective. Israelis can become very emotional during fierce bargaining. It is best to remain calm. At times, defensive tactics such as blocking or changing the subject, asking probing or very direct questions, or making promises may be used.

"We bought f35s from you for X amount, how about you throw in some Iron dome interceptors? Come on, these save lives. You want another international crisis because we can't shoot down Hamas or Hezbollah rockets? Ok fine, they can't be free, how about half price? 75 percent? Ok you need a profit, I'll give you 95."

Americans see it as being rude and demanding, Israelis see it as essential to not being made a fool of.

The Roe leak was unprecedented, there weren't any like it ever before. Roberts hasn't cleaned out shit. We still don't know who did it even though he clearly does.
Oh yes, Roberts does know who did. And we have not had a single leak after it. Not when Chevron was destroyed, not for Trump, not for a single decision since.

My point was there wasn't a single leak like this before either, that's what made it "unprecedented", We have a right to know who tried to subvert the Supreme Court by publicizing a rough draft of a decision to pressure the author.

Well that's just simply not true. Gridlock has always been intentional. Though it was never designed for two party gridlock, the whole point of having a bunch of different representatives instead of just one leader is to ensure each state gets represented zealously according to what that particular state wants. You want the representatives of Virginia and Conneticut at each other's throats because that ensures the both will end up with the best they can get. We're meant to be a united force when facing foreign powers - which is why there's a singular entity facing those - but domestically that's not supposed to be how it is. Lincoln messed everything up when he decided that he didn't like the south disobeying his sweeping federal overreach and ceding from the country they'd willingly signed up for.

After Lincoln and once the two party system showed up, gridlock is our only safety net. 2020 happened because the uniparty turned off the gridlock to freeze out Trump. Honestly, the best possible chance we have right now is that with 2022 screwing over the republicans, the repubs who thought 'I'll get to use this cheating system for myself too' and colluded with the dems in 2020 will realize they'll never get a slice of the pie and actually do their job this time.

We have a right to know who tried to subvert the Supreme Court by publicizing a rough draft of a decision to pressure the author.
Find the single woman who got dismissed right after and you'll know who did it.
