What a fantastic read. Really shows how Dave is one of the most ridiculous lolcows on this site. He doesn't get up to much interesting stuff or have crazy sagas which drags him down quite a bit, but his baseline lunacy is so fucking high. Just look at any Facebook post.
This post...I don't think it will get him a lawyer, sad to say. What an interesting way to solicit for one. As per usual, it's just histrionics made to make himself look like a victim and thereby increase his social standing. Why does the lawyer need to have experience in dealing with narcissists? In civil matters like this isn't it pretty much one team of lawyers against the other? They wouldn't really need to interact much with Dr. Joe, would they?
Unfortunately for balding social media Boomer Dave, I don't think lawyers tend to find clients by browsing Facebook. If they did, it would be in specialized groups and I'm sure it would be better to post a sub 300 word outline rather than the screed he has blessed us with. No lawyer, not even an intern, is going to read that shit. Maybe try a bulleted list next time.
I want to sue my father for emotional and physical damages. I have recordings of him showing that x, y, and z happened. I believe the following damages may apply: xyz. I hope to gain a million dollars. Do let me know if that is a reasonable sum. Note that the man has vast financial resources so settling quickly is very unlikely. Done.
Also, lol that he doesn't mention the restraining order, only that he is 'in hiding'.
In the comments someone suggests a charity that offers assistance to disabled victims of domestic abuse. As if Dave was kicked to the curb last month.

He's right about one thing: he definitely needs to find a lawyer who has experience dealing with narcs.

It just goes to show how fucking lazy he is. Any time I've needed to find a lawyer I've gotten a free phone consultation. It's 15 minutes to explain what happened, what I'm hoping can be done for me, and them explaining realistic courses of action and outcomes if I choose to retain them. I doubt you get that with some Randazza level celebrity attorney, but these were well respected attorneys who charged at or above the mean hourly rate for my area. Dave could literally be talking to attorneys for free this week just by making consultation appointments.
Dave instead chose to stand outside PVCC with a giant sign looking for lawyers willing to work on contingency. The sheer laziness and arrogance of this fat slob with nothing to do. The last time I thought I was going to need surgery I stuck a sign in my yard looking for an orthopedic surgeon willing to work for free.

He had lawyers handling his disability claim - successfully. But for some mysterious reason, they have not referred him to Columbia's best slayer of rich narcissists. Sorta like there's no other lawyer in town they despise enough to sic Dave on them.

TBF he might have a good case for conversion (Joe keeping his stuff) if you take what he says at face value. It might even be true. A quick settlement for a little bit more than the 12 grand already on the table, no court, is feasible. Unfortunately la principessa also has these fantasies about sticking it to Joe and making bank via lawfare, subsidised by lawyers working on contingency who have to listen patiently to his story multiple times and perhaps shed a tear in sympathy. Once again Dave lets the perfect narcissism be the enemy of the good.

Dave is hilarious. It would be libelous to say that even a small fraction of what he wrote in that long screed is even close to the truth. I don't think that he realizes courts operate, largely, on verifiable, objective fact. He twists things so far it isn't even just a point of view, it's nothing but flat out lying. One tries to say such things in court, without proof, they will find themselves neck deep in shit real fast.
If you say you had a heart attack, and somehow it was caused by someone else, plan to hand over medical records proving that fact. Your back didn't heal correctly from surgery and left you with permanent disability because of someone else's action and as a result you also require further surgical intervention? You damn well better have serious proof and a medical expert's opinion that is willing to back up those assertions. No one is just going to just take your word for it, and no one is really interested in your interpretation of things. Everything has to be properly evaluated and interpreted through appropriate statutes, procedures, and precedent.
Dave seems to be just as bad as Russel Greer. He seems to think that if he is just allowed to tell his story in front of a judge and jury, they will break down crying and find Dr. Joe not only owes him $100 million dollars, but that Dr. Joe and Dr. Mary must both be put to death for their horrific crimes against Dave and humanity as a whole.
On the other hand, I'm not sure if he deludes himself when things aren't going his way, or he is just stupid, but, seriously, what are the odds that every single attorney he talked to just happened to not have the time to take his "slam dunk, multi-million dollar" case? Does he really think its by sheer coincident that every lawyer he called said the same exact thing? Hell no! There is little doubt that every lawyer has a script in their head that they use to let crazy assholes down easily when they don't want to take their case and ensure they won't show up in their parking lot with a machete. Doctors certainly do.
Any attorney that isn't literally starving to death, living on the street, and just takes any case that comes their way to feed their crack habit won't touch this flaming turd filled dumpster of a case if their life literally depended on it.
Also, in case Dave is wondering, a bruised wrist (which wasn't actually bruised) will literally show absolutely fucking nothing on an xray.
