New trailer released today. Animation is noticeably worse, constant cutting corners and tweening.
They axed zoidberg's girlfriend with the odor fetish.

Spaceman Spiff in Calvin and Hobbes has the same "vibe" to it as Futurama.

If settings were combined one wouldn't feel too out-of-place in the other.

New episodes are pretty bad. Like actually bad.

I stopped fucking watching. 20mins of this shit at a time is fucking awful.
The second half hasn't been as bad as the first half of the Hulu episodes. That or my expectations have been lowered so far down. They just been having really craptastic endings. The episode The Temp is a good example of this.

I didn't watch any of this season, but the first half of last years episodes were awful, and the second half were just kind of OK. Maybe this season is the same? I don't know if I can muster the will to actually watch it, because I'm just kind of uninterested.

It should have stayed dead after the movies were done. People were clamoring for a revival the first time, but by the time Comedy Central revived it for a second time, I don't think anyone gave a shit anymore, including the people working on the show.

I'm actually enjoying the latest season so far. No classic episodes and nothing that would win back frens who think it should've stayed dead the first time, but it ain't bad, I'm honestly surprised. And other than the unfortunate mandatory recasts of e.g. Leo Wong, they've laid off the CY politics. They even had a speaking part for Obama's head and it's just a silly gag, they didn't go there like that birth certificate episode. No Trump, unless he was somewhere in the background.

The first Hulu season was a DISASTER. Almost every single episode was crushingly worse than every episode in every other season, with the anthology episode even being a couple tiers lower than that standard.

The Meklar (a cyborg people) of Master of Orion 2 sorta look like Decapodians with robot exoskeletons.

(MoO2 came out in 1996 BTW.)
