The mock Jesus in the Paris Summer Olympics opener was played by a self-described "fat, Jewish, queer lesbian" who goes by the name Barbara Butch.

Growing up in a family of Jewish immigrants in Paris, Barbara's upbringing was a traditional one.

"When you grew up in a Jewish family, you're told when you're a kid that you have to grow up and marry a Jewish guy and have a kid," she explains.

Some of her family members were killed in the Holocaust, and she admits that this legacy "was a lot to take on my shoulders, even now".

Unfortunately, anti-Semitism also formed part of Barbara's childhood. Growing up in a "racist" neighbourhood, she would be taunted by local kids because of her family's heritage.

She eventually found a haven in the French Jewish Scouts, which she describes as a "safe space" with "poor and rich kids". Here, she made her initial foray into music by learning to play the guitar. She also explored her sexuality through flings with fellow female scouts.

When Barbara was 18, she came out to her family and began her first serious relationship, leaving Paris to be with her new girlfriend.

The disgraceful Paris Summer Olympics opener put on by "queer" ceremony director Thomas Jolly brought shame to the nation of France and triggered a massive backlash on social media.

The International Olympic Committee worked to silence criticism of the event by filing illegitimate DMCA takedown requests en masse on Twitter.

The American telecom company C Spire on Saturday announced they were pulling their ads from the Olympics in response to the show.

"We were shocked by the mockery of the Last Supper during the opening ceremonies of the Paris Olympics," the company said. "C Spire will be pulling our advertising from the Olympics."

It’s not the painting people worship. A mockery of a painting is nothing. This is mockery of Christianity. It’s a problem because of how one sided it is. If it was someone mocking all religions, I’d have far less of an issue with it, no ideology should be above criticism. But this is mocking the main ideology of a country and threatening its adherents.

If that ideology is agreed on by all, again that’s less of a problem. What we are seeing now is a persecution and replacement of the population who hold those beliefs.

It’s the difference between ‘goodness gracious me’ doing an Indian mother in law sketch in chill 90s Britain and the government running anti-Indian propaganda after announcing all Indians are to be culled.

This is the first stages in the native population being dehumanised, devoured and replaced. Even atheists should be worried about this.

People are upset because they have taken one of the most famous depictions and celebrations of an important part of the core of the Christian faith and have turned it into a celebration of hedonistic anti-Christian activities. They only ever target the Christain faith for this. They are mocking your belief in Christ, they are mocking Christianity, they are mocking (the idea of) Christ himself.

You do not need to accept the core tenant of a thing or idea in order to mock it. They can mock the idea or belief of a thing without believing it exists. I do not have to believe in Yakub, father of the white devil and tricknology in order to mock the hotep's belief in it.
