I've looked around the thread and I couldn't see anything related to this, so rate me late if I am, but LinkedIn and its peculiar male population.

I have put the most unfriendly looking profile picture of me I have. No smile. Only lipstick as makeup. From the neck up. Looking down, neutral expression.

Men texting me about wanting to greet me because we're "peers in this profession". Men texting me about how they "appreciate me" (?) followed by a heart eye emoji. Men texting me about a start-now job interview with a Zoom link included (does that ever work at all?)

I have no idea how other women who dare to put up pretty pictures of themselves, usually taken on their graduation day, stand this platform.

This is another thing I noticed too, it's always the pimples or greasy skin. Men also look like trash if their skin is covered in acne and grease from being unwashed. I mainly see them at Target tbh I’m not sure where else they are sold. The brand is Honeypot and it’s specifically the ones labeled “herbal”.

Wet skin is just more permeable so you will feel the menthol 10x. Normally they are more of a slight cooling feeling but if you are damp it will feel like your labia is on fire.

Men do genuinely care about beauty. Men do not accept natural looking women because there are women out there who look stunning with makeup. And men always chase the ones who look most beautiful with makeup. Let's imagine this scenario: you're in a club, you see a bunch of single women dancing and having fun. Some of them wear outfits that are not highlighting their figure (simple jeans, simple shirt, nothing exciting) and no makeup. Then you look further and see that a few look stunning, you see attractive curves, they wear make up and look spotless, you look down on their legs and boom, high heels, the legs look so long, you suddenly don't see the other women anymore. You only see her. You turn to your friends and talk about how hot that one woman is and think about how you can hit her up. Now you can of course blame it on women, how dare some women not care about makeup and looking super feminine. Or you could be honest and admit that men will never chase the natural and average ones. Men always chase the one that looks the best. I see Arabs with obese wives who don't wear make up and they are caring and loving, treating their wives with utmost respect. You're correct. I did not pay enough attention to what you wrote and naturally assumed you would defend men.

On a further note, I have probably overlooked it but the whole field of medicine is made for men, tested for men and made safe for men. A man will not get a yeast infection from antibiotics 9 times out of 10. A man will not have to wait weeks until released from hospital to get it treated because the hospital won't call the gyn. A man won't endure searing pain from vaginal cream to treat said yeast infection for days. Men are not negatively affected by medicine, have less side effects or even none. Because the pharma industry bases everything on a male body, not female body, which would need different chemical compositions.

Everyone needs to carry things or squat sometimes, everyone gets older and will lose muscle mass, everyone's looks and daily calorie allowance are improved by weight-lifting.

I agree with this entirely, with one caveat being that there are SOME (not all, and certainly not the majority) women taking the absolute piss wearing what they classify as "leggings" as appropriate workout wear.

The old guard aristocratic women, despite their ornate dress, loathed even simple things like lipstick, and attached incredibly stringent social stigma to a woman wearing it. The author clearly resented this and presented it as oppressive, but it flies in the face of this common idea that makeup and fashion are tools of female empowerment that were repressed by male chauvinism. A man is just as likely to get diarrhea from antibiotics as a woman, and, unfortunately, beyond our gut we have another place in the body that's riddled with beneficial microflora which WILL die from antibiotics. You really can't prevent this unless you use something highly targeted, which they do for UTIs, however if you're treating an infection in the soft tissue, or something that's full kody, like Lyme disease, for example, you're gonna have a way harder time telling the antibiotics to stay in one specific place.
