Which is objectively what the constitution requires. The national argument on the right has shifted from a moral question to a separation of powers and federalism question.

You're confused. Being "weird" is only cool if it's within a socially acceptable standard. If you disagree with me, you are weird (incel)- but if you have blue hair and pronouns, you're weird (quirky). The same people who used to shout from the rooftops that they were weird and unique have always said simultaneously that being weird is bad, and that is how it has always been, because it has never been about being unique or different; it has always been about being PERCEIVED as being unique and different while still fitting into society.
