Why even be on /tv/? For that matter, why even WATCH TV? How many hours have you spent before the Electric Jew?
He spends his leisure time at that great american institution, the laughter box.

/v/ is the patron saint of lost cause boards, unsurprising. Many have pointed this out before and it's been going on since at least Borderlands 1's marketing campaign.

They really need to bring back poster count in threads.
that /v/ and other shitholes still don't have thread-ids is pretty good proof nu-moot is on it. there's no logical, technical or whatever reason against, especially these days.

same reason you can laugh about people shitting on nu-wars without watching it (the clips and other stuff is already enough).

/tv/ itself was great for the memes, they're were pushing so much shit to see what sticks (and pissing off the jannies) was hilarious. pestposting, sheevposting and #madatmort was the shit. and don't forget the greatest of them all that forever changed the association of certain words in the english language...

with the trannyjannie takeover it's probably one half sneeding activist groomers and the other glowniggers trying to subverting it for anons shitposting to close to the sun.

last time i browsed must have been like last year and in just a short time span i saw exactly the same thing, its just a rotation of the same threads, sometimes even the first row of comments is exactly the same. Anyone that doesn't realize whats going on on 4chan doesn't have human level IQ.

These days I have to update my filters about twice a week to hide shills but that only fixes text spam, I've been thinking of learning machine learning just to have a model that recognises twitter image threads and hides those, so annoying most boards I browse is just discussing xitter retard opinions.

/cow/ was good, at least in the early days. It followed a similar format to Kiwi Farms but in imageboard form and was one of the more active boards on the site, then internet bloodsports got popular and the board got invaded by the absolute worst dregs of the sektur. The board never recovered, and the few people who visit it now, on an altchan formerly called "Julay", are these same sektur bottomfeeders. Everyone else, including board owner, moved on and abandoned it.
You will never see a board like this on the 'cuck. If you ask for a /celeb/ board you will just get banned, you're more likely to see /qa/ brought back with a personal apology from Hiroyuki.
I never saw the point of /cow/. To me it seemed like a redundant lower quality version of KF that was 100 times slower.

Bloodsports user in charge of knowing community history quicktime event (he didn't hit F fast enough)

I never followed the internet bloodsports stuff when it was happening. I know Ralph frequented /cow/ that's about it.

I remember being first exposed to 4chan and its culture via a tiny video game forum I was once part of, circa 2005. All 12 or so of the other regulars and staff frequented 4chan to some degree, and I distinctly remember hearing "/v/ is trash, don't bother" on multiple occasions.

20 years later and /v/ is so godawful I can only imagine those oldfags I knew would instantly die of cancer upon the page loading. May they rest in peace, wherever they are now.

Back in the day they had lolcows that would primarily post there and interact with the IRC clique attached to it who apparenty had oldfags that dated all the way back to /cwc/. @JEWS was a significant member of that clique.
Cows that are ancient and long-forgotten posted there, like Rika and Moleman9000, the former might even be dead.

This is your reminder when 4chan people say "Kiwitroon" it's projection. They literally post on a website run by trannies. There isn't a single tranny mod on Kiwifarms.

I would say that 4chan's userbase is less weird overall, if only because it's mainly teenagers (they have not had enough time to become truly weird)
Kiwifarms is largely people in their twenties and thirties and yes they're extremely fucking weird on average. See: every single time someone from here gets doxxed
People deeply into lolcow culture are demented

/v/ definitely has marketing shills, I remember before cyberpunk2077 got released and people were leaking the game I got banned couple of times for copyright when posting the leaked glitchy gameplay webms.

I see those jeets in /a/ now shilling whatever slop Netflix is trying to shove down everybody's throats.
The language used to push it is the most corporate sounding shit ever. Like it just doesn't fit in. "This is the most anticipated anime of this year, I can't wait to watch it, I hope you're all excited as I am."
It starts in corpo speak then it devolves into jeet speak once enough people come into the threads calling it shit.

Dungeon Menshi and that 41% Squad Isekai shit are where I've seen corporate astroturfing leaking into /a/.
